Adequate at best

danbnnsn

They are sloooowly making the UI/UX better but it still needs LOTS of improvement in those areas and also has one persistently annoying bug: the app logs me out and briefly forgets I have a subscription every time it automatically renews. So once a month I have to log back in and go to manage my subscriptions to confirm that I am still signed up for an ongoing premium membership. Kind of defeats the purpose of having auto-renewal if I still have to manually remind it at the end of each pay period.

Last update broke it...☹️

petekx250

I’ve been patiently waiting for an update because they seem so frequent, but it’s been days since the last update that broke the app and still no fix. I’ve got an iPhone 7Plus and every time I try to open the app, it says I need to log in through Facebook and as I click through the pop ups it will crash...hoping for an update before I switch. Happy user since 2010

Great until recently

dancetoday1234

I have been using Stitcher for years. It’s one of my most commonly used apps. Evidently I accidentally change the speed, but the developer responded below so I am editing my rating and comments.

Good but buggy

aluna991763

I love that I can sort my podcast into business, crime, funny, etc. I recently had to delete and redone load because it would error out and make me sign in with Facebook then sign me out again. Also I will set it up to listen while I drive and if I get a text or the maps gives a direction it will stop. Never had his problem before. I love you it please fix these problems.

BEST PODCAST APP BY FAR

B.E.Meistro

I’ve tried a lot of pod apps & none of them come close to Stitcher. Well done!

Stop with requiring Facebook logins

ezgo22

I have 3887 hrs of listening clocked on Stitcher and at no point did I ever use a Facebook login to access my account. Now I get incessant login errors and requests. As if I want Facebook to know and leak even more information about my life than it already does. I have roughly a hundred podcasts that I’m subscribed to on stitcher but I can move them and then I will have the added bonus of not having to listen to the between episode ads.

Non-intuitive interface

AR_n_AK

I’ve used several podcasting apps over the years. I was tempted to try Stitcher for the premium content. Too many touches to do things. Listening to content isn’t intuitive or simple. Marking items played/not played was a chore. Deleting items from any screen other than the downloads screen is laborious. Great content, and available on multi-platforms which I require. I wanted to like the app as much as the content, but couldn’t. I’ve got no issues paying for content or an app. Ads I understand as well. TL:DR great content, app needs UX love

Garbage

Chead52

Why earwolf studios would switch by far the worst podcast app I’ve ever used is beyond me... the howl app was terrible, but stitcher is worse. It’s too bad there isn’t a coherent and functional way for me to get access to all comedy bang bang episodes. Really should be so easy and straight forward to use.... they should be terribly ashamed to have, what should be such coding, be so hard to use

Fixed

Bambusa20

I’m glad the FB login prompts have been fixed.

Wheres the episode I’m currently playing?

Awesome content, wish it wasn’t hell getting to the point of listening to it. Awful functionality.
