Updates Are Great

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years, and the recent updates continue to improve the app. The new navigation by seasons/years is particularly useful.

Every time I tell the app to play podcasts OLDEST to newest. It doesn’t even follow those settings. No matter what it played Newest to oldest. Why would I want that?? And the download settings are a mess too. I have recordings it just won’t let me delete after I’ve listened to them. App is a mess. I’ll give more stars when you actually make the app functional. I never have any of these problems with the Podcast app. My 1 star review is based on the app. I enjoy Stitcher premium very much. But the app makes it such a complicated hassle.

But until it can work without constantly giving me the “connection error” when trying to open, it doesn’t seem worth it to use this app.

With the updates I am able to download and listen later. The download are again in order of that makes the podcast flow oldest to newest. I've been using there free version for many years. I think that this app has the best search function. Sticher offers so much subjects and downloads that is easily searchable. On the topics that you want to listen to.

Deleted Nearly 200 Podcasts Without Any Warning

I subscribed to stitcher premium for how did this get made only. It's the literal only reason i used this garbage app. Payed the 4.99 a month for 'premium' so i could have access to the entire library of HDTGM only for the app to delete every single episode i downloaded for no reason. Thanks for nothing. I'll be sure to avoid this app in the future.

Still Not Good

Doesn’t recognize my Howl subscription. Also, just generally doesn’t work well. Still sticking with Howl.

Constant blinking

Update now causes blinking constantly on BMW X3's screen. Buffering refreshes constantly. No problems before. Others seem to have the same issue.

Great when it doesn’t crash

I really like the Stitcher app but it constantly freezes on me. Let’s say for example I start a podcast, then take a break, exit the app, and return 30 minutes later. Once I return, it is almost always frozen. It just sits there and does nothing. I have to power down and restart my phone in order to get the app out of this state. I’m using an iPhone 7, and my software is always updated. I was hoping that the latest Stitcher update would address this but no luck :(

I’m addicted to podcasts and I find that Stitcher has all I need to organize, order, download and listen to them online and offline. They keep improving it and when they made a change nobody liked, they fixed it within weeks. This is my go to app.
