OMG, I freaking love this app

I was mindless driving around downtown LA looking for a parking lot that wasn’t $40/day or full. Googled my problem, found SpotHero...parked 2 blocks away for 1/2 the price. Now I use it all the time.

I didn’t want the app, but the website wasn’t allowing me to change the time. When I downloaded the app, it took forever to login b/c it kept giving me an error for my password. When it FINALLY logged me in, it didn’t show the reservation I had just paid for! I tried the customer service line, and after it said that the call may be recorded, it just was silent, so I wasn’t sure if I was on hold or what. App is frustrating and useless!
Easy and removes stress in advance

I use SpotHero (and previously Panda) in Chicago mostly, and enjoy having parking taken care of in advance for a great rate. The spots I've used have worked out well, and I appreciate that the app calls out if a spot is covered or has on-site staff. The app is easy to use, too.
Bad experiences
NYC car
I've used this app 4 times in NYC. Twice the parking lot attendant has refused to honor my prepaid reservation resulting in stressful situations. So my experience is 50% failure rate. I am reluctant to trust this app for Manhattan.
App needs to be like website

On the app you can’t search up monthly. When i reserved for a month and wanted to renew the payment wasn’t going through and started a new reservation... overall it’s a good app but they need to include searching for monthly slots and not calculate it by days only on the app..

Needed a place to park my car in Manhattan, used this app for the first time. Ended up saving me five dollars and gave me peace of mind knowing that my parking spot would be there waiting for me . Highly recommend
