Scam

First attempt, three scooters. First two would not go. Still get charged. Third one worked.

Good times

Just don’t

I used to ride these scooters every day to work. Now they charge $25 for every single ride. Sure. You get your money back after two weeks. But this company is just a scam now days.

Easy to use and fun!

No refund for $80 overcharge

This did not end ride properly and I was billed an extra 3 hours. Contacted customer service via app and was ignored. Contacted via email and was told I had exceeded the window for refunds.

Kept charging me

So I like these scooters more than any of the competitors, but I turned my scooter off and locked it got home and went to the to app to find another scooter and got slammed with a $62.00 charge for a supposed 3 hour ride, I was only on it 10 mins if that, in hella very upset because I would like to ride spins but I’m not going to pay 60 dollars for a ride I didn’t take

Careful

This bike is fun to ride. But it was very annoying how they charge because I was charged for riding twice when I only had 1 ride. Their customer service answers quickly, but there was so many back and forth. I ended up disputing with my bank and I have different charges and payments from Spin. I wouldn’t ride this again. It was such a hassle for temporary fun. IF YOU DO RIDE IT, COMPARE HOW YOU ARE CHARGED WITH YOUR FRIEND! I was not able to take a picture of my ride to end it.

Cost to much

Ride is great it wouldn’t work for the first 6 min and still charged me definitely could be a little cheaper 5 bucks for 5 min too much

Disappointing!

Can’t contact customer support to resolve credit card/payment issues. Re-installing app and opening results in a landing page that says I need to enable “precise location” in settings - there is no such option.

A menace to society

I had only previously had positive experiences with spin scooters- I found them very fun to ride and they were convenient too. However, this changed for me after riding one that I think was defective- I tried to stop it and not only would it not stop but it veered sharply to one side as well. I fell off and landed in the middle of the street, and to add insult to injury, the spin had stopped entirely so I couldn’t even get back on it and ride to safety. Luckily the cars behind me had stopped at a red light, or that easily could have been a fatal crash. Afterwards, I left multiple reviews demanding to know what happened and not only did I get no refund but not even a response from the customer support. These rides are super expensive anyways- I highly recommend you just get your own electric scooter and bypass the randomness and potential to crash and burn on a random spin that is simply broken, only to get ignored by their customer support.
