Smooth bikes, pleasant experience

I took one of these bikes for a ride after coming across one in the city I live in (Charlotte, NC). I walked one way for about three miles on a local greenway and didn’t feel like walking back so it was placed in a good location to try it out. I’m also a person who likes to ride pretty often around town on my own bike. The bike had a really smooth riding feeling to it and even had a couple of gears to use, which was something I hadn’t seen on other bike shares I’ve tried here and in DC. The bike was also pretty light compared to other bike shares I’ve tried. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely ride one of these again.
Incredibly laggy

I think it’s just for the UCSD campus, but the app is laggy to the point of being nearly unusable. I don’t have this issue with any other apps, and given how it seems to be rendering several hundred bike racks across campus, it’s probably something to do with that. Hopefully this gets resolved soon!
Get around

What a great way to get around town when your traveling. I travel every week and renting a car is an expense in rental, has and parking. Spin bikes are easy and convenient not to mention the most reasonable form of transportation around. I discovered them in Phoenix when leaving a restaurant. Took me about 8 minutes to download the app, create an account, figure out how it works and then get on for a ride. But now that I’ve done it once, I’m all in. I will be riding these in-every city I visit. Bikes are good, lightweight easy to use bikes. Would love to see a headlight and flashers on the back for added safety 5 stars

I usually get anxious when it comes to biking on city streets but the comfort and feather-weight of Spin bikes put me completely at ease, especially compared the other choices out there. The simple but intuitive app design is the icing on the cake.

Had a great experience from start to finish. Downloading the app was easy and I hopped on a bike within 30 seconds. Super easy to use. Love the bike too- it has great style and rides smoothly. Surprisingly great ride for a bike rental.

Much smoother app, overall great experience. Bikes work well, are where I need them to be, and haven't had any problems unlocking. Keep it up!

Spin was incredibly easy to use. Everything from using the app to the bike itself was easy to understand, efficient, and has saved me time and money from my usual morning bus commute. I also love that the seats raise high enough for a 6'2" rider (not every bikeshare company builds bikes for users my size).

I used Spin when I was in Seattle and it was a great experience - bikes unlocked quickly and there were a lot of bikes. I wish Spin will be available in SF soon!
