I tried scooter after scooter and they were all broken or out of battery. When I finally found one, it wouldn’t unlock after 3 attempts. No way to refund my lost $5. 0/5 stars.

Used this app for 15 minutes... Dollars it made me load into the app: $5 Number of scooters that the app couldn’t unlock: 3 Number of scooters that weren’t were the app said they’d be: 2 I want my $5 back.

I studies at UC San Diego. Got to say that Spin offers convenience, but it is annoying that when I ride the bike off campus, the system asked me to ride the bike back to place near or in campus. Otherwise I will be charged for 25$ fee. This is totally ridiculous! If I must ride the bike and park it somewhere near campus then I don’t even need the bike as I’ll just walk to take a bus which is free for UCSD student. Pls someone else can also ride the bike even if it is off campus. Bike-sharing App that I used in China does not restrict a parking area or force you to comply “return policy”, which completely undermined the convenience of the App offering to the users.

Latest version of app is fast and reliable. Great update, thank you!! Awesome that it works w Apple Pay (and unlike some other reviewers I really do like the auto reload).

Grabbing a scooter is so much faster than being stuck in traffic during the morning/evening commute. If there’s an issue, customer support is quick and helpful.

The bikes are pretty terrible and the app is slow and doesn't work that well

A) The app inconsistently unlocks bikes, that portion of the app is quite buggy. B) They have decided as a company to offer poor customer service. They have elected to go all digital in their customer service and they are doing a very poor job of it. As an example, reporting a damaged bicycle is outrageously difficult. As is requesting a refund for a trip gone wrong. There is no option to merely send the company an email, you must find the form closest to your need and fill it out in order to communicate with them at all. C) They require you to keep a balance of credits to use their service. I don’t accept this business practice and will avoid using spin bike or any other bike share requiring this in the future. D) Their bikes seem to consistently be in bad repair. I suspect this is in part due to the difficulty of requesting a bike be repaired.

My campus partnered with this company this semester but I can’t even log into the app. The app keeps wanting me to start a new account, and there is no option to log in with my existing account. I’ve also tried Facebook login and l, even after it says it worked, it keeps me at the pre-login screen in the app. If there is another way to log in, it’s not obvious at all. Disappointed

Tried using this for the first time when I needed to get home and my campus’s busses were no longer running, but after I signed up and logged into the app it just gave me a blank orange screen. Tried everything I could think of to get it working then just took an Uber.
