App crashes and too many ads

Make sure you print your itinerary and don’t rely on the app. Flew into Phoenix, AZ at 130 am and had a car rental set up on the app. Earlier in day was able to view my reservation but later when I needed it, the app and online wasn’t working. Will change my rating once I feel they have addressed this, Ended up using Orbitz to rent a car because SW and I couldn’t find the reservation.

I’ve flown with Southwest a few times & I was pleasantly pleased. The Flight Attendees were very kind to my very talkative grandson. They not only kept him amused, but kept the hot chocolate coming, even a package to go upon leaving the flight. He still raves, saying those were my friends. He says ,”they really cared about me Ms.T, they really did. I am now & always looking for senior discounts & or just discounted flights period from Chicago to Glendale via Phoenix Airport and there are never any listed. Saddens me that all other destinations have discounts. So I am wondering what’s the reasoning differences. When I fly from Chicago to Glendale via Phoenix Airport, those flights are always filled, as on my return flights also from Phoenix. I plan on flying to Glendale sometime after the middle of February from Chicago’s Midway Airport to Phoenix Airport to reach my destination of Glendale Arizona. Not user friendly and very clunky

I attempted to add my credit card to enable early bird check in and after all the information is entered there is no way to complete the transaction. I am sure there will be a fix eventually but looks like I just saved $15.00
Crashing a lot after the latest update

Will you guys quit losing my login info when I update the app? This is a real PITA if I’m traveling and all I brought was the phone.

Several deficiencies make this mobile app less desirable than it should be. When you check in, if you have more than one person on the reservation, you are unable to get a mobile boarding pass. It forces you to check in at the kiosk at the airport, or print a paper boarding pass at home. When you were traveling, this is significantly inconvenient. American Airlines app has the ability to get mobile boarding passes even with multiple people on the reservation. In addition, you cannot set up text notifications for flight delays or gate changes from the app. Other apps let you do this. The only way to set up notifications is on a computer. It forces you to type in your entire travel information including origin and destination airport, flight number, date of departure, and so forth. Again, this feature is available in other mobile apps without the hassle.In sum, this app is not up to industry standards, which is disappointing as I have been a long time Southwest flyer.

For my wife and me Southwest is our go to airline. The one thing I would like to see in the app is a notice of how far out the schedule for bookings goes on the opening page of the app. As it stands now you have to go most of the way through the booking process before you find out that the schedule does not go out far enough.
