I do not know if it is Southwest or Apple. I tried to download the app from Southwest.com/iOS. That was listed as a link for iOS 11. Same message as with the previous app. We have retired this app to the hangar. Tried again. Same problem. Mike

The southwest app only provides minimum functionality compared with United and other airlines and has no support for Apple Watch.

App error out every time it is launched. Ok to use to check flight but will not trust to book flight because app is so flakey.

I am a die-hard Southwest flier for business and personal travel and believe this is one of the best airline apps out there. Works great and easy to navigate and use. Excellent job!

Miserable errors on iPhone

Now on iPad edition...well, no icon. The word Southwest appears under some black and white thing that looks like a wire mesh. Just a great job releasing stuff! It’s OK unless you actually want customers to find your icon on the page. Oh look American and Delta and Kayak logos and icons are all there. Maybe I’ll pick one that actually works.

App or mobile website not working.

I have been trying to use app and mobile website for booking for months now. And always get error at check out, I have to make sure to be in full website mode for anything to work. App never works for booking.

Only major airline without native iPad app

I can’t believe it is 2018 and this app doesn’t have native iPad support. Every other app I use has native support for iPad other than SWA. Every other airline app does. And for some reason, the latest update took away the Southwest icon so now it is a blank “target” icon in my Travel folder on my iPad. As usual, no issue with the iPhone icon. Southwest - I’d sometimes like to use the app to BOOK travel or check flight status and having that use the full screen of the iPad would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks to a very narrow minded geoblocking approach the SWA app and the website pop up obscure error messages when signing on from overseas locations. Thanks southwest for making it difficult/impossible for foreigners to buy tickets. Guess you don’t want certain markets such as India.

Crashes after today’s update

My Southwest mobile app no longer works after downloading the latest update. I get errors whenever I select anything. This app has been very reliable in the past. Please fix!
