App never works. Changes songs for no reason, if I can even get it to play. DO NOT waste money on sonos speakers. You’ll rarely get to listen to music. You’ll spend your time frustrated trying to figure out how to make them work.

Great music for everyone.

Hit Or Miss

You never know when Sonos will work or not. Sometimes it’s great, other times the speakers don’t show up in their app. Extremely frustrating. I’ve finally learned that running around to reconnect the speakers is a waste of energy. Now, I simply give up on using Sonos. Later, or maybe the following day, I open the app and all my speakers are back. I have rock solid, fast Internet. It’s Sonos that’s the problem. I’ve not added to my Sonos system due to its finickyness.

Intentionally horrible?

This used to be a fine app, but now it seems that Sonos has intentionally made it horrible to encourage people to upgrade their hardware for S2. It’s slow to the point of almost being unresponsive, and doesn’t always do what you want it to. I was an early adopter of Sonos and have a significant investment in their system, but with their attitude with S1 users there’s no way I’m upgrading, because they’ll likely do it again once they have an S3. Luckily there are good alternatives now.

Frustrating update after frustrating update

Simon Gaviotas

I’ve been waiting for years to write this. Bottom line, it’s Sunday, I just want to listen to music with my wife. But no. I need yet another update. This time it’s asking me to find a WiFi network named Sonos. Yet there is none. Now I’m stuck. It’s asking me to use an Ethernet cable to- no. Stop. Don’t buy Sonos. Don’t use Sonos. After this I’m going back to wired. Not worthy he hassle. I’m using a play at and the S1 app. Music and breakfast has turned into a half hour of trouble shooting. Nothing is worth this much hassle. I’m done with Sonos forever. Just glad I had this revelation before my friend considered purchasing a Sonos system and talked them out of it. He now has a wired set up and guess what? It’s works when he wants it to. Total garbage.

Sonos review

I have had two first version Sonos speakers for maybe 8 or 9 years, I just bought 2 more (S1). I love the system, but more than anything else, I can’t say enough good things about the Sonos Tech Support. Absolutely amazing, I’ve had to call a few times when moving things around. Always answers in 2-3 rings and give the absolute best possible service.

Piss poor decision

How could you leave your customers th early in the life of the products. Very dumb decision. I will never buy your stuff again. It says we are not loyal to our customers. If you had to do it then give full credit towards new gear. Period. Or never do it.only t
