Horrible customer service

I was charged twice for a single student monthly plan, and was proven through my phone conversation with one of the agents in Social Bicycles, not only he was giving me an attitude but also told me that he will think about it and I will receive an answer from the management team within a week! for what???? for a $7.68 extra charge. On top of that you will be charged extra here and there for stupid reasons. They are looking for any reason to charge you, worst customer service i have ever came across with. I hate to write reviews in the first place, yet alone write something like this to give a bad image, im sorry but you guys need to work on your over charging and horrible customer service.

Rentals work but...

So the rental part works. Rack location map and bike count is fine. Just the other parts seem to be missing or fail. I could not sign in to SoBi using Twitter or FB as an option for help desk request. Also no integration with iOS Health data. Trip data should be loaded to Health after it's done or live if possible. I have to have another app to track my cycling which is dumb.

This app is fantastic, it scales perfectly from my iPhone 7 Plus all the way to my 12.9" iPad Pro. Has never crashed. The ratings seem to suffer the same fate as Yelp. People rate the app poorly when the issue is with their local service provider and not the app itself.

I would like to see SoBi bike integrate with the various health apps. So if I go for a ride it will track the distance to the health app.

Be aware the following situation will cost you: You are standing in front of a bike you want to rent. So you download the app ...following that you choose the bike rental network you think the bike in front of you is part of....but because you are new to the area you choose the wrong network...you pay for it!! There is no way to tell if you chose the right network for the bike that is in front of you, so it's a guessing game. No reimbursements . Finally when you get your correct bike then you pay the membership plus the rental cost. So long story short: this does not work for tourists who use this service once!

We are visiting for the week and we spent 3 hours calling different numbers and almost called 911! Terrible customer service when it comes time to lock it. It charged us 18.45$ extra?Never will do it again!

Salt air means most of the panels are not legible. Two bike rentals in a row where key pad was also iffy. Appears extended hold is not long enough for lunch as rose to Venice boardwalk for lunch with friends. Came out bike gone.
