Way too much liberal news!

SMARTNEWS used to be ok, now it is way too liberal in almost everything they post. They try to portray themselves as far and balanced so they can keep pushing their liberal agenda.
App selling out to advertisers and irrelevant sensational stories

Used to love this app but now I see too many advertisements that are annoying. Also, the content gets stale quickly and not replenished often enough. Losing my interest.
App no longer works

Used to be a good app. Now it freezes every time I open it. If I’m lucky I can read one article before freezing.

This is my go-to news app, but with the new iOS 14.4 it crashes whenever opening up an article. Now totally unusable. Update: Had horrible crashing issues after the last update. Took a complete power-off cycle to fix. Now is working well again.

Most of the stuff in this “ news” app is geared toward democrats! Lots of misleading stuff as well! I had high hopes for this app to show unbiased and truthful stories but this is not the case!

I appreciate the content and the variety of sources. I don’t appreciate the lock up every time I open the app on cellular data. It occurs on WiFi, too, but the duration is shorter. I also abhor the app stopping my music when I launch an article. Each pet peeve is worth a star. In other word, fix these issues and you’re a five star rather than a three star.

I like the simplicity of use. I’m home bound veteran and spend hours reading to pass the time. It would be nice if there was a way to block categories of news such as left sided news, specific people in the news etc. Just list the possibilities and let the user seek out what is important to them. If we can eliminate what we know we don’t want more independent news will rise for us to explore. Overall an excellent news and information program. I could not find most of the interesting science and medical information without this program.
