what happened?

used to be alright, mostly gossip rag nonsense now no matter how many times I hit “not interested””
Keeps crashing and only shows ads.

The stories are easily accessible but usually the story is just a rehash of the headline with no new info.
Generally good, but pop up ads ruin the experience

I generally like the experience of access to a wide variety of articles, even with the articles scraped from other news article scrapers, but Google Ads pop ups ruin it for me. Maybe it’s my old iPad stuck running iOS 12.whatever, but article window will frequently go black with a small ad window in the center, and no way to recover except Back button and start over. Sometimes it’s a race to finish reading the article before blackout! I should be able to clear the ad after glancing at it and continue reading the article. Is this behavior different on a current version of iOS?

This app is OK but there is one problem I have with it: Articles that you cannot actually read! I click on an article and too many times the articles’ publisher site requires an additional sign up / log in, etc... Stop using publishers that require third party sign ups or at least give us filters to block the publishers that do. I would rate this app four stars normally. Without the changes mentioned; one star.

I love that this app gives current and up to date news. It also provides news faster than other apps. I love keeping up to date on news.

Was really hoping to find an app that was truly unbiased in their opinions, but rather just report the news and let the ppl interpret. Such a disappointment. Really losing faith in ALL media to report ANY truths without opinions. I do t think it’s possible any longer. I’ll keep to my local newspapers and news channels rather than any social media or national media. It’s all self-serving.
