I depend on your news cause it divulges the disinformation that the right feeds it’s base! It helps to divulge the domestic terrorists that are attempting to take over our country! Keep up the good work.

Can't disable Fox 'News' stories from appearing in feed

This App provides no ability for the user to prevent stories from outlets who spread misinformation, conspiracies, distortions and basic journalism malpractice from appearing on the home page. The user should have the ability to prevent unethical media outlets from ever appearing in their Top stories feed. How is that not obvious? One must suspect that propagandists like Fox pay to have their items pollute the home page of an otherwise very useful app.

I have tried them all and hands-down this is the best news app there is!!! Unfortunately I had to lower my rating from 5 to 3 stars because if you only want to read you’re fine, but trying to load ANY video when it’s even available (most of the time you can’t even find it anywhere even when it says there is a video) takes forever to load, if it ever does load! It’s gotten so aggravating that now I just copy the headline and punch it in the YouTube and watch it instantly

I find that you have too many articles from the lunatic fringe, and too few from respected news sources. I declared my preferences when I downloaded the app, but it doesn’t seem to have done any good. Just who owns Smart News? I am seriously thinking about deleting this app.

I got a report from Apple about how many trackers were blocked from tracking my content across all app usage and every single suspicious bit of activity was from SmartNews. They have hyperlinks in every news article several times and if you accidentally barely touch that part of the screen, if immediately tries to go to App Store and download whomever paid them to trap you! This is so shady and so sad. I immediately removed this app and it’s disgusting how shady and greedy it is. Do not trust SmartNews!
