Am used to seeing news stories a few days out of date in SmartNews but just now there’s an article about Lowes great labor day sales? But it’s January 16 is anyone minding the store?
Buggy and unreliable

And by “unreliable” I mean pretty much useless. A truly EXCESSIVE load of ads, combined with stories that either do not load at all, or load and black out the screen so that you would have to start the article all over again, if you have the patience. Note that many “articles” contain nothing other than links to their original site often with “clickbait” headlines that waste your time. I mean, if they spent any time curating their inventory to weed out the junk…well, that would be welcome, but I am not holding my breath. And I am deleting this app.
Not really customizable.

Tiny tiny box to mute stories. Options to mute are random and often don't apply at all to subject you're trying to mute. You only get to select show less ( of the 100 stories about the same current tv show or movie you're seeing in feed). Just not worth the time of blocking each individual story by the dozens and dozens.

Anyone know of an app setting to kill the ‘Other Stories’ spam that have recently invaded the smartview safe space? Or perhaps a router/vpn blacklist address like that worked in the past with SmartNew’s normal ads? Browsing SmartNews with my left hand, I’m required to bring up a right thumb/finger to whoosh away ‘Other Stories’ EVERY TIME they appear to ruin my app experience because the ‘X’ is on the other side of the screen.

Your articles are always, all ridiculously long all the time with way too many fluff and superfluous details. I hate your website but I just glance at the Article titles. Maybe once in a great while I’ll scan an article trying to learn a tiny fraction of the articles subject matter. I also think you have WAY too many articles on Donald Trump. All you’re doing is contributing to the possibility of putting a complete nut case in the office of US President and that will threaten our country’s freedoms and democracy. Remember that he once said that he admires dictators because they can get a lot done. Sickening!! So Please STOP doing Donald Trump stories.
