Price has skyrocketed

Worst airline app

Used to be fine; prices and delivery fees have jumped to where it’s not worth it anymore. Find another option.

Trash

ARQ1988

Rinse is absolute trash. Not only do they scorch your clothes and have little to customize - they will lose your clothing. I’ve used them three times and 2 of those times I had missing items. The last time the clothing came back stiff, faded, and as if it had been washed in hot water. Also the pickup/drop off times are highly inconvenient for people with normal hours. Customer service is decent - I’ll give credit where credit is due, but I wouldn’t waste your money.

1 and done

1st experience a nightmare and meeting with lawyers to settle. You’re better off driving, walking or catching public transport to deal with a local dry cleaner you can see in person. This way the dry cleaners will have as sense of integrity handling your garments. Not only did 4 of 10 pieces have to go back for re-cleaning but one of them still isn’t clean. And to add insult to injury they accidentally charged me for the re-clean, causing one of my accounts to be over drafted. They apologized for inconvenience and said it would take 3-5 business days for refund. No solution for jacket still dirty or overdraft fees caused by their blunders. Do your self a favor and don’t even bother downloading app or making appt. ❌❌❌

Horrible app

mdyson

The service works great and I’m able to do most things over text but the app is horrible. I can’t even update my address I the app! When I click save nothing happens! It also constantly logs me out!

Horrible delivery schedule

Hannaaaaaaa2019

I’m so over this company. As a monthly subscriber, you would think they would care about accurate deliveries, WRONG. Firstly, you get a vague text between 7-10 will be delivered, however it never actually gets delivered till after 930pm. Once you pick a pickup date you are locked into it forever. God forbid you have to change the day you’ll get another $8 charge. They can be 2+ hours late to deliver but you’ll still get charged if you need to change the day. Not worth the hassle nor money.

Inconsistent Service and Unhelpful Support

LennieS

When it works, it’s great, but pickups and drop offs consistently occur around 10pm and for various reasons, drivers will cancel/miss their stop/claim they can’t find the apartment door (despite being a large building with a front desk). Supports is only via text and they will generally just shift the blame. After 9 months of this I’m ready to try alternatives.

You will want to pull your hair out!!!

Think it’s convenient? NOPE. They’re always two hours late. I’ve had to cancel plans because they lie about their scheduling. Think it’s affordable? NOPE. Costs me easily $75 each time. Think it’s good quality? NOPE. I’ve gotten other people’s socks, they’ve destroyed three of my dry cleaned shirts (out of four I sent out), sometimes the clothes smell like febreeze on top of cigarettes. Nasty. Think the customer support understands? NOPE. Vague, unhelpful, and the phone line is always disconnected. There is legitimately not a single reason to use this app. I’m going to start to pay someone else to just come to my apt and take all my clothes to a laundromat, wash them, and return.

Good idea but app and scheduling make no sense

MacMac425

We’ve had Rinse for a few months and really like the service we have received on our laundry and the couriers themselves. But I’ve come to just not trust the scheduling of pickups, especially if you deviate even slightly from your weekly normal pick up. We’ve changed our pickup to be a day later and asked the courier for normal service, but then we mysteriously get charged for rush delivery when they drop it off the next day for no reason. This week I tried changing the pickup date and instead of moving it, just made another one on the day I requested! I like the service but you guys have competitors who I imagine don’t have so many problems with their product, so I may be switching soon.

Convenient but with silly defaults.

Rinse is fairly convenient, but make sure to ask them to tumble dry low. I contacted customer support asking what the wash/dry settings were after I noticed some clothes felt like they shrank a bit, and it turns out they use medium heat by default because it’s “best practices” according to them. Well, medium heat is heat enough to shrink some clothes, which happened to mine. Don’t know why they do it since their own site has articles saying to use as low heat as possible, but I imagine it’s a way to dry things faster without regard for outcome. Certainly drops my trust in their service.

Delivery logistics are a nightmare

Muchachooooooo

Very easy to miss the delivery, very easy to miss them, and if you do, you gotta pay more (even if you already previously paid for rush and didn’t end up getting it). Just that alone will make this not worth it.
