Do not use, consistently do not return items

Do not use this service, especially for wash and fold. They constantly take clothes from you and do not return everything you gave them. Terrible service. Use something else if at all possible.

Service, app great, could use some improvement

Update 2/12/19: they’ve implemented a $30 minimum order fee. There are ways to avoid it if you use multiple services on a single order, but for simple dry cleaning of a few items this service no longer makes sense. I’ve been really happy with Rinse, but this change makes the service unusable for me. Update 1/9/17: Now pickup is free, but delivery is $4. I've been very happy with the service, but that's a lot. Review: I tried out Rinse dry cleaning for the first time in San Francisco recently. I gave them a dress shirt & slacks. The driver was friendly & arrived on time, and explained the service to me. They left behind bags, one for dry cleaning, one for laundry (a third for delicates is available on request). They also left behind a door hanger, so they can drop off clothes if you’re not home. The hanger was not compatible w/the fire doors in my building. I hope they come up with a new hanger design, maybe one that hangs from the door knob. The night I’d originally planned to receive my cleaning, I later found I couldn’t be home. I texted them before 5p; they happily replied they wouldn’t come by that night. I rescheduled delivery for the next night; my cleaning arrived during their normal delivery window. Everything looks good. I’ll know for sure when I actually wear my clothes if anything is wrong. I’ll update my review if there are any problems. Overall, this is a slick service. The app gives you some access to do things, including easily scheduling a Rinse & updating some preferences. I have two suggestions. First, when I open the app, I’d like to instantly see any clothes out to Rinse for cleaning. I’d like tracking like FedEx: I want to see where my clothes are in the process. You take pictures of my clothes; show them to me in the app. When out for delivery, say that. Second, text messages aren’t granular enough. I don’t want to receive your marketing texts (we’re in your area tonight; schedule a Rinse!). But I do want to see any immediate status updates to my cleaning (maybe there’s a delay for some reason). For that matter, should those come through texts, or through Notification Center on my iPhone? Overall, I like it. Prices are similar to area dry cleaners, but they bring your clothes right to your door. Very cool.

GAME CHANGER ???

The app is excellent, customer service has been friendly and professional, and I can’t believe how EASY it made it for me to outsource doing laundry during a busy time of year. Don’t think twice about it, just DO IT. You will be so pleased. My clothes came back clean, soft, neatly folded, all my socks were paired, and my valet was THE NICEAT PERAON EVER. Your quality of life will thank you for choosing Rinse. I’m SO GLAD I decided to go for it. Very reasonable and reliable service - you will not regret it. Have fun!

It’s okay

The pickup and drop off times are strictly between 8pm-10pm. Kind of strange. Every single day. That’s pretty late. Super inconvenient.

The app is great

I think people are reviewing the service here—which is great, by the way—rather than the app. This app works great. I love knowing when my courier will arrive, and the app regularly updates any changes in the estimated arrival time. Super convenient and easy to use. For the record, the service is outstanding. Couldn’t be more convenient, and my clothes are nicely cleaned and folded. Would highly recommend the service and the app.

Buy new clothes and save some time

Might as well buy new clothes instead of paying to have clothes cleaned and not returned. The pickup and delivery was simple and convenient. I would use it again if they had simply not lost my clothes. Texted the support and they replied quickly saying they would look into it. Haven’t ever heard back.

THEY LOST MY CLOTHES

DONT USE THIS SERVICE! 2nd time using this service and I got someone else’s towels and clothes in my bag and they lost my stuff.

Lost all of my clothes and they still text me to come back

hotuan87

They lost ALL of my clothes and customer service was entirely unhelpful in helping me find it, claiming the delivery person had delivered it already. Thousands of dollars in clothes lost. Thankfully, a week after I lost the clothes, it suddenly appears on my doorstep. No acknowledgement from them that they ever lost it or that they had finally delivered the clothes. As far as they claimed, they did nothing wrong. Operations is clearly a mess and I will never trust them.

So not what I wanted it to be.

The first time I used Rinse my sheets and clothes were clearly still dirty. I ended up washing them myself. I liked the valet service provided and thought the presentation of my returned clothes was stellar. I used them again to see if it was a once off and I had towels and sweatshirts that weren’t mine returned to me. Now that they have raised their fee from 3.99 to 7.99 I guarantee I will not use them again.

Changing Rates - Dishonest

This start up is scrambling for cash and their model is probably not sustainable. A month ago they offered a yearly plan for a flat delivery fee. Two weeks later they raised a minimum order and now they have raised their prices by 50%. This is absolutely atrocious to customers, they made me pay a yearly fee and then changed the whole rules of the contract. This is a dishonest way of doing business. Be careful into going in a long term with this app, you will loose that money
