Randomly stops scrolling with you for no reason

It usually works fine for the first few lines then out of nowhere it just randomly stop scrolling with your speech… Fix it this is absolutely unusable as is

When this app came out I bought both the English and Spanis version. The Spanish version was half baked but the developer promised to fix it. Tired of waiting I bought Teleprompter (which works great). Now the Spanish version doesn’t work at all. Don’t waste your money. Just go with Teleprompter and a blutooth remote control and be done with it.

Buying app doesn’t buy all features

Bought the app and then have to pay for other features. Every feature should be included in the purchase price and not as addition add-on purchases. This is a teleprompter app not a video game, developer.

I’m at a point where I wish I didn’t waste my money on this app. I’m in the middle of creating a course and want to keep things as streamlined as possible so I bought this app. I cannot get it to work. Once I set my settings and press play, it will not pick up that I’m reading. I’m using a microphone and speaking clearly. This is so frustrating I’d give it 0 stars if that were possible.

The app has seemed to decrease in function over time in regard to its voice tracking. I have tried numerous ways to fix this—slowing my speech, annunciating super clearly, using different lapel mics (which I tested in other programs to ensure the problem wasn’t with the mics.). In addition, I have reached out to the developers/app admins and haven’t received any response. I have wasted too much time re recording due to issues with the app to find this app helpful.

Failed me consistently

Purchased the PRO ~ as I love and need this concept ~ but last week I have wasted so much time filming content with my brand new mirror less camera trying to get the teleprompter to work consistently - even at arms length distance to NO AVAIL. Very frustrating as I have small children and my time is limited to shoot content. Wasted an entire afternoon with nothing to show for it. Yesterday I gave it another shot by doing 2 livestreams with it at arms length and it would just freeze on me numerous times during my lives! Here I am trying to restart my iPad numerous times DURING my live monologues as it would start working for a few minutes then completely freeze and I had to continue from memory . I’m beyond frustrated. ….. am going to look elsewhere I must state when I tried recording in selfie mode with my iPhone and it worked great.

Good enough, but lacking quality for the price

Little things like remembering the current scroll speed to make adjustments and having normal sized “hit boxes” to get out of the settings menu would make a huge difference.

Not happy about paying for the remote option

I bought this app at the recommendation of FilmRiots last video. I gladly plaid $20 for what I thought would be a fully functioning app, only to find out after trying it for YouTube video script I was working on the voice recognition is spotty for my voice. So I saw they had a remote control option and then realized it would be an extra $2 per month or a yearly subscription…. All said I’ll be paying another $17 for another app found here in the App Store which includes the same features this one charges extra for. I don’t want to seem like a shill (also I haven’t bought the other one yet to know if it’s better) just do a search for other apps and I’m sure you’ll come to the same conclusion.

After spending about 4-5k on equipment over the past month for my studio to create content, this + my teleprompter might be the best combo investment so far, and they are bottom end of my expenses ranked from most to least expensive! Excited to keep using this app! Love VoiceTrack!!
