Terrible app.

Sand,rock,cement,water

The update doesn't crash as much, but it is still super slow. It uses a painful validation process. No touch id. Really painful to use. Another old company failing in the digital age.

App is all but just about worthless. Capability and programming is pathetic. Principal is an insurance company that is playing in the investment world. Their investment options are horrible. Move your IRA!!!

This app is terrible. It flat out doesn’t work. Takes 20 min to load a page.

The App was bad before but it is terrible now. It is slow and doesn't respond half the time. It seems to contain much better features and functionality than previous versions but the lack of response makes it almost worthless. It needs attention and lots of work.

Just started a new job and they utilize Principal while my previous employer utilized Fidelity. The Fidelity apps were spectacular and this simply leaves a ton to be desired. Really hoping a major upgrade is coming soon!

How can anyone think this app is of any help at all. It concerns me that the same people that think this app is a valuable tool are the same people that are in control of my 401k plan.

This mobile app is an embarrassment to Principal. Crashes often. Gets stuck. Won't open. No finger touch. I'm looking to get my company away from Principal Financial as admin to our 401k plan. Enough is enough.


Missing background for top bar

If I scroll down in the most recent version of the app things scrolled reappear at the top of the screen after passing behind my account header where the time and other statuses are. App support button goes to a missing page on the principal site. Otherwise works fine for me.
