The app let me order from a restaurant that was closing. The “latest arrival time” got pushed out over and over again. The assigned driver never responded to my inquiry. The first Uber agent stopped responding for no reason. The second was pleasant enough but I figured out the problem before they did. Then I had to contact a third because the promised credit was never applied to my account. This merger clearly has been a super idea. I can’t wait until there’s only one food delivery app that doesn’t even bother to pretend they offer customer service!

Its astonishing how much postmates wants to squeeze money out of you. Im getting a pretty big sandwich, so it costs 15$. Okay thats no big deal, normally i would expect delivery to make it 20$, which is a lot but bearable, im really hungry after all. However postmates then likes to implement a bunch of just complete asinine fees, like a “temporary local fee” or just unnamed “taxes and fees” and now my 15$ meal costs nearly 28$. Are you kidding me? Why on earth would i pay that much for a sandwich. Also if you get an order that postmates deems “too small” they add more fees on top of that! Literally the worst app ive ever used and i hope that the postmates execs burn.
Pickup from a closed restaurant?

1. Order from what is a clearly a ghost kitchen 2. Drive to it 3. On my way get notice that my order is ready 4. Have a terrible time finding it (begins a building in a food trailer) 5. Find it and ask for order 6. Get told kitchen has been closed for over an hour (“on pause”) because they ran out of key ingredients 7. Can’t request refund for order because it “hasn’t been picked up yet”. How did the postmates app notify me that the order was ready if the kitchen is literally not accepting or completing orders. The only person there was doing dishes and clearly not accepting orders or updating order status. And the fact that I can’t even get the order cancelled/refunded is just salt in the wound. It’s like postmates just makes up status and hopes it will turn out ok.

Why would you say delivery fee is $0.5, then add a $10 delivery fee when you checkout? Would appreciate the fees being upfront

App is awesome and super convenient but with all the fees it’s almost worth going to pick up food orders myself. Paid $20 for a $7 (12) pk of Coca Cola the other day and realized that’s never happening again.

This is another business model centered around taking advantage of soldiers. Half of what you pay is fees. Will never use again.

Postmates was very fast, easy, helpful. I cannot ask for a better app. This app was very clutch and should win MVP this year. I really enjoy this app and I will definitely use it more without my mom knowing…

Completely unreliable. They give you an estimated time and your order WILL NOT arrive at that time. You can’t contact the delivery person you can’t see where the person is on the map. It’s the worst food delivery service out there. I’m still waiting for my food currently. I will NEVER order from them again.
