The best

Happy guy1121

I’ve used a lot of headsets and this one plus the app are the best. I’m a customer for life

Find my headset

marcybuck

The feature to find your headset is crap!

Can no longer update firmware with the app.

Can no longer update firmware with the app.

Headset is great but app?

Kraftybeeotch

The app can only help you find your headset in limited situations. Headset has to be wirelessly connected to your phone. If it’s out of range or out of power, nope!

guess i didn’t buy the right earbuds

wannabeapolyglot

when my playtonics BackBeat Fit 2100s disappeared, i went to download this app, only to realize there is no supposed for the BBF 2100, i payed $100 for earbuds that don’t have support for the locator software. yet the $60 backbeat fits do have support, i payed an extra $40 just to not be able to use playtonics own app.

Best headset and app I’ve used

Docjohntx

I’ve had Bose, Jabra, Sony, all of them. Hundreds of dollars spent on Bluetooth devices. This one is so solid I have three of them in rotation. Never have had one break or fail. I have three because I lost one and then later found it. The part that goes in the ear wears out eventually and is easy to replace. I am rough on these devices, too. Never have complaints about wind or ambient noise. Battery never runs out on me, even after 4-5 hours talk time. Charges fast. Seriously the most comfortable one I’ve ever used. I have to touch my ear to be sure it’s there, and I wear glasses. Most of the time for Sirius or YouTube I don’t even switch to my iPods Pro. Works well even for dictation with Dragon. Easily the best price and product out there. App is also very well done and useful.

Missing “Settings” button for most models

all41_14all

The app only allows you to change settings on 10 models of headset. There are 28 models listed in the app which have no “Settings” button when you select that headset. Poly support seems to be unaware of this, blaming Apple for having odd standards. My Voyager Legend, a model currently being sold, is not supported. Poly support told me I need to adjust settings (turn off sensors). They said this can only be done via the app, but in fact, the app does not work. (Poly’s Mac software is broken by a memory leak more than two years old, so that’s not an option.) Also, why all the reviews about headsets? This is an app, not a headset. It’s not helpful to have to wade through headset reviews to find out how the app works.

No longer works with Voyager 5200

DallasTrikker

The app has stopped working with my Voyager 5200 for some reason. No amount of re-pairing, re-installing, or resetting will fix the issue. The app just doesn’t recognize or find my headset even though it’s connected.

Recently stopped recognizing my 5200 connections

jakester2007

It has been reliable for years but recently stopped working. I have uninstalled several times but still does not see that my headset is connected. Under iOS 13.5.1. In privacy settings, the app does not show up in apps that are allowed to use Bluetooth. Maybe that’s the problem.

App a bit second rate compared to bose

M_J_S

It doesn’t seem to let you control which devices you are connected to if you have more than 2 connections stored. Surprising for a premium product. Bose allows this.
