Never find my headset

Itsbatman2u

App use to work great but the most resent update won’t find any of my headsets any more.

Obscure much?

leamca

Trying to pair the headset to my new iPhone. Eventually found user manual online, only to find the Bluetooth button is super secret on the face of the headset. NOT OBVIOUS ENOUGH FOLKS. Downloaded the app and was required to rate something before I even had the thing active on my phone, lost my place in the process. Also, I suspect you use latex in the formulation of the ear tip and loop. I’m allergic, no wonder it makes my ear hurt after wearing a while. You need to find something else to make these things flexible.

Always worked well, but no longer finds headset since update a week ago

UgaVIII

Since updating late Nov. or early Dec. 2020, the app no longer finds my 5200. Before that, no problems. I tried restarting the phone, app, headset, unpairing and repairing, deleting and reinstalling app.... nothing works.

Good app for the supported headsets - but...

Agent Merq

In the past week, the app has been my highest “battery usage” in the background causing my phone to get very hot. Not sure why it’s running in the background. It’s definitely a bug. You also can’t disable this app in the “background refresh” settings of the phone which is weird. It’s not listed. Hopefully fix soon. It has more battery background usage over YouTube and Twitch and I use those all day. Something very odd is happening. Besides that, the app is usually fine and I can adjust my 5200 with no other problems.

The headset is awesome the app drains my battery

ATrotacielos

In the last week my battery has been draining down in 3 hrs. I checked the battery usage over 80% was used by the PLT hub

How to work!

MusicMac

***** UPDATE ***** HOW TO WORK In short it’s about what someone said - about having to adjust settings in the hub, which of course you can’t because they skimped on iOS and Mac desktop versions Using the PC desktop hub version has nothing to do with the iOS version and shouldn’t have to be considered a work around, but using it at least allowed me to get my headset working with the iOS mobile app. In the hub - goto is he Settings tab, then to “sensors and presence.” I left “wearing sensor” on and turned off “aware of Microsoft” under a secondary “Software setting” index. It’s sad that the iOS hub needs help from the PC version desktop. The rest of the mess below is all the useless other stuff I did. =========================== My headset “voyager legend” is supported by this app yet even though my headset appears in my phone’s Bluetooth device list - the app will never work. Someone said it wasn’t supported. Who knows. In fact - on the app Home Screen it says there’s no voyager legend connected. I made sure to download latest desktop hub version for Mac. Installed latest iOS mobile hub - updated 2 weeks ago as of writing this review 12/16/20) which is SLOW and failed anyway. EVEN updated the headset firmware to latest version — v.110. Well... it all doesn’t work. Plantronics or whatever it’s called now... Poly — all the same ... another FAIL.

Still love the Legend better but

Coach D Cooper

I have both the Legend and the 5200. The app works better with the 5200. I needed to use the find my headset feature on the legend and idle it wasn’t in your ear... never would be able to find it. Disappointing. The Legend give more commands and notices than the 5200. I especially like the feature where you push the button and it say if connected on not. Given both headsets will without notice that’s an important feature.

Not pairing

Will not pair with my voyager headset.

LOVE THESE

These are some of easiest headphones I’ve got.
