Strava Link/ Sudden Stop

Runs using the Pear app on my Apple Watch do not send gps and heart rate information to my linked Strava account. Also, the app just stopped after an hour into my ‘tracking only’ outdoor run.

I have been using this app for many years. I use it to track every workout, regardless if I use the built in couched routines or just track a boot camp workout. Now it is even better due to the built in VO2 max algorithm that allows you to complete a simple run routine to calculate a pretty accurate VO2 max. For me the most important thing is to see how it changes, not what the exact number is.

Good app and workouts for Apple Watch

The workouts are worth the price here especially if training for a specific goal like 5k or 10k with heart zone training. Only complaint is that there is a delay of getting heart rate into the workout with Apple Watch, from 1-3 minutes. This is usually during warm up so not an issue and then tracking is good. Coaching is helpful and not overbearing and I like listening to my own music. I use with the watch on its own so don’t have to carry a phone! If not for the lag, I would give 5 stars.

I really wanted to like this app but every time I start a workout, about 5-8 minutes in, it starts the work out all over and there’s no way for me to get back to the spot I was at!
