Perfect Training App

nw_wine_girl

Recently picked up an Apple Watch and this app came highly recommended. After using it for a week, my workouts have become much more efficient and I’m now training with my heart rate. Highly recommend testing it out.

First time user

I’m a first time user. I just completed my first workout- a yoga routine. I tried pausing it about 5 minutes in to grab something and when I pressed play it restarted the whole video and I was not able to fast forward it to where I pressed pause so I just started over. About halfway through the routine the workout froze and then started again about 5 minutes forward. So I missed about 5 minutes of that routine that I couldn’t rewind back to. When I finished the workout it said I burned 6 calories. Kind of bummed.

Potential

App is good to partner with 80/20 plan, but heart rate monitor continues to disconnect. I also turned off all announcements of mileage, time, etc but it still randomly announces this data...incorrectly I might add. I’m unlikely to renew my subscription.

Too Comprehensive

DaJuLee

Good platform but could not find one that suits my needs. A little too advanced for me. Won’t be using.

Perfect - if it worked! Frustrating that it doesn’t.

I love this app I have high hopes for it. Everything about it is great. The motivation, tracking, music. All great. But every time I try to get my run number or heart rate calibration or vo2 score, nothing works. For months now. Inside on treadmill and outdoors on flat pavement. I have my Apple Watch on and everything has access to sync (gps and health). Unfortunately I bought a year instead of a month so I can’t stop my membership and cancel. It’s worthless to me right now. If I can’t get my scores then I can’t get motivated to do better. So frustrated!

New to Pear and So Impressed

I just started using this app, but The Tread n Shread workouts - holy cow. I didn’t know what to expect but if those workouts are any indication, my body is going to be in great shape this year. Excited about discovering other challenging workouts!

Kicked out of programs I paid for

RoboHank

I had pear four years ago and loved it. I ended up not being able to keep my iPhone and finally got a new one last month. I downloaded the app and all my user info was erased by the company. There is no record of the account I had and it wants me to start all over in a trial period. This is horrible. I paid for the membership right out the gate and now I am out the money. Poor service, I don’t want to pay for it again.

Overall good

I really like this app. It’s the first fitness app I have used long term and actually kept after the trial. Only problem I have is some of the program keep randomly pauses and restarting over and over making it impossible to finished. And there’s no option to come back to where you left off so your entire workout isn’t tracked.

Great workouts for beginners/intermediate

I workout off and on and lately have been off. This is a great app to get me back to where I was when I was working out five to six times a week

Could be perfect!

One of the best apps I've tried! (And I've done a lot) I truly love that it helps you get tailored heart rate zones and determine your VO2, but I don't like that it differs from the one Apple Health determines for you. I kind of think this as the more accurate one and I would love for the app to write that info in to Apple Health. Also the things that the coaches say really actually help you while you train! A couple of things missing to give it 5 stars... User interface both on iPhone and Apple watch are just ok, nothing great looking or nice looking and there are no complications for the Apple Watch Infograph faces which I think it should be a must at this time. Also it doesn't import logs of swimming for example and that kind of wrecks your whole profile (activity class, etc) I'm really hoping you guys keep this app going and getting better on future updates.
