Dudes! I use the app a lot, but it would be nice to get an easier way to schdule my training plan. Instead, like many apps they focus on stuff I don’t need: case in point: providing sub-par music: Stop thinking you know what users need! Focus on fitness, leave music to me :)

good but...

I really like this app but for some reason in the middle of each workout it starts over even though the timer keeps going as if nothing has happened. I’ve tried refreshing and exiting the app but it does it every time. Not sure if anyone else is having that problem but it’s frustrating because I really do like the coaches and workouts. Hopefully you can fix this somehow

App Music

Disappointed Music

I was a big fan of the app, purchased memberships for the last couple of years and used it for marathon training. Now not allowed to listen to your own music from the app, only stream music from the app. You ruined a great app and likely lost a user.

I use it almost everyday. But it could be so much better

-Please add an option to skip forward and backward within the workout! And maybe a pick up where you left off. Sometimes I miss what the trainer said or want to try something again. Or skip the warm up if I’m doing more than one workout. -the calendar for training plans: would be nice to reschedule a missed workout. Often the “go” button on missed days just doesn’t work. -would like to have music controls during the workout for the in app workout. I use my own Bluetooth headphones, maybe if you use the pear earbuds you have this option? I don’t know mine broke pretty quickly.

Not tracking

LighterLater

After 45 min of walking outside on hilly roads, the app shows 000 for my effort. So disappointed.

Great app. Using it along the the heart rate monitor really helped me get back into shape. A year in I signed up for a half marathon and used a Pear training plan. It kept me on track and scaling up gradually. I love being able to schedule the workouts, switch them up if I need to, and for some of the long runs I’d also find other coaches on the app to run with and get a different perspective. Crossing that’s finish line was incredibly gratifying! I’ll keep at it!

I’m back w pear

I love trying other and new fitness apps- but this is the one I keep coming back to - nothing is as motivating to me as having a coach talking me through a whole workout - and the Apple Watch stand-alone mode + AirPods is the best - esp if you have a series 3 and get gps and streaming music

My go-to app for working out

The Running Green Girl

I use this app daily for training. I use both the guided training workouts and the tracking only. I have my workouts synched to MyFitnessPal (where I track my nutrition). I run, cycle, and interval train using the app for mostly tracking but I also love the coached workouts. The foam rolling ones are great for keeping me focused on my target areas. The elliptical and treadmill workouts are perfect for the gym. I use a Wahoo Tickr x heart rate monitor for my running and cycling so the ANT+ can synch with my Garmin devices while the Bluetooth synchs with PEAR and I can still get the audio coaching.

Great app!!

Th3 Chozen Juan

I have used the pear app for the past two years and it is as advertised. The personal coach in your ear is a great concept, there are hundreds of workouts to choose from ranging from running to rowing. Even has yoga and meditation if that is what you are looking to do. The ability to track HR and vo2 max give this app a 5 star rating. A must use when training for marathons, 5k or just trying to better your lifestyle.

Apple Watch

The Somali King

I had trouble connecting my watch to the iPhone app during live workout. To fix this, make sure your phone doesn’t go to sleep for the watch to work without any issue such as disconnection. I had an issue a long time not knowing this. Overall, it’s pretty good. Update: looks pretty good. Thanks
