Cant restore my purchase

Alex-008

I have been using this app for ages. I paid for it. Since last update it is stuck in free mode and it will not restore my previous purchase.

1 Feature request: customize notification sound.

Rayg05

Missing ability to customize the notification sound or have it obey the notification sound set in setting for reminders. Besides that it's an amazing app. Highly recommended.

Was great until the update

I loved using this app since it connected to all of my devices and have used it for a few years. Since the update, it's in read only mode and won't restore my previous purchase. It's really frustrating going from having a fully functional app to one that demands more money to get back the functionality it had before.

Crazy expensive app - Expect unexpected costs for updates

I love Omnifocus. I am a longtime user and I live by it. It keeps my life organized. However, since buying it, I can not count the dollars I have spent on it through buying different versions for different devices, problems with licensing (app store vs website purchase), getting the pro version, and having to pay for upgrades on devices. I am talking hundreds of dollars. Whatever you pay for your first version is not what you pay in the end!! Five stars for quality, one star for pricing model.

Good for GTD and great support

jamanjeval

For a simple todo app, this is likely overkill for you. This app is made for those who use the methods outlined by David Allen in Getting Things Done. There are other apps that do GTD and I can't them to OmniFocus, but OF works well for me. THe times I needed to contact the Omni Group for support, they have always been exceptional in their response.

Outstanding way to stay organized

I really like OmniFocus. I have it on my iPad, iPhone and desk top Macintosh. Whichever platform I'm using immediately syncs to all the other platforms. I use their own server option. Runs very well. Keeps me on top of all the things I need to keep track of in my Real Estate business.

Amazing app keeps getting better

Great interface coupled with more and more functionality makes for a app that is well worth the price. Glad to see the continued improvements.

I payed 20 dollars for this app...

Coming back to this app after some time and now they're asking me to "unlock" it. This is probably the most expensive app I've ever bought and they do this. Low. (Edit: Changed my review because of the response. This is a really good app. But I'm moving to Things because I like to pay once and just be done with it.)

Not perfect, but the best productivity app out there

kyledjohannes

I have tried many, many different productivity and to-do apps before I first bought the $20 iPhone version of OF over 3 years ago. I can't remember them all by name, but I was married to Google Tasks and really wanted something that synced with it. The options were limited. Then I was just going for the simple and free apps - but they left me feeling unorganized and cluttered even in their simplicity. I couldn't organize things well or have due dates or projects, etc. I knew of OF but didn't want to spend the money originally. But once I did I have never turned back. I have been using OF for so long, at times I think I would be lost without it. I love the organization it offers, with Projects (different types), folders, etc. Deferred dates were confusing at first but now I love them. A while back, I shelled out the additional $20 for the Universal app to use on an iPad and then one I started using OF at work I bought the Pro version and wish I had done it sooner! The custom perspectives are very helpful to keep personal and work projects and items separate. The Reminders capture is also very helpful. I used to use the Forecast feature but I am slowly moving away from using due dates and mostly using daily reviews to flag items that need completed. Then the custom perspectives come into play to keep be focused. But OF is not perfect...there are a few features that I wish they had...but they listen to you and have great customer service. I have had many questions and I always get an email response within a couple of days. Has it always been the answer the I was expecting? No, but they seem to be open to implementing ideas if enough people request them. It will be interesting to see whether or not they "succumb" to the subscription model after I have paid $40 for a mobile only app (I would purchase the OSX version if I was on my computer enough to justifying, but I am not).

$43.99 but you have to pay extra to use it?!

Wikisz

$43.99 but you have to pay extra to use it by "in-app purchases". Thanks but no thanks. I don't like being "tricked" into downloading.
