Please adjust the night mode to utilize the true black in dark mode. It will help with the user experience and optimize battery life. Thank you

Costs $80, not $40 as advertised

ahh7dn

The whole reason I got this app was the advertised cross-platform capabilities. I paid $40 for the app on the Mac store and attempted to sync this account to the one on my phone when the app informed me for the first time that the Mac and iOS platforms are sold separately (even though the app is advertised to be used on all your devices repeatedly and with heavy emphasis) and that I would have to pay an additional $40 to get it on my phone as well. I had made my peace with a $40 organizational app, but having the true price of $80 sprung on me like this was ridiculous. Now I have to just through all the hoops involved in getting a refund. Additionally, it’s absurd that to unlock the full potential of the app on either Mac or iOS you must upgrade to pro for an additional $40 each, bringing the total for this cross-platform app to function at its best to $160 dollars.

Hopping off the bandwagon after 5+ years

bsbernie

The fact that my reminders/task management app for 5+ years no longer reliably notifies me when a task is due is a dealbreaker. David Allen says to put all your thoughts in a trusted system, and I can no longer trust this system despite being the most expensive in the App Store for this category. Disappointing. Seems like OmniFocus needs to ‘focus’ on the basics rather than all the bells and whistles they’re working on for OF3.

Good But Needs "TAG" Option Added

E432MIKE

I purchased OmniFocus for Mac and iOS both are good however pricey and somewhat complicated also the feature to add TAGS is missing. For whatever reason the developer left the ability to add TAGS out they should look at 2DO and Things they both are top 5 GTD programs that are highly successful. The developer of OmniFocus may not believe in the ability to create TAGS however should add them and leave it up to the user whether they want to use them not. The developer shouldn't decide whether or not a paying customer/user should be able to use a TAGGING FEATURE we should have our own choice not just because you don't like them personally. So please take the time and add the TAG Feature I know I'm not the only person that's asked for them I've read many reviews with this request. Your program is expensive and we paid a lot of money on multiple platforms for you software so please honor our request it's the least you can do. THANK YOU!!!

Excellent Customer Service

Stopped using parts, headaches returned

It helped get my life in control, then I grew complacent and only used the contexts. Contexts are great, actually better than great, but I need help juggling everything else, too. Interested in the comments about Mac only, cannot use on Windows at work. That is why my iPad is always there. My professional book library is also not permitted on the work computer, although needed most days of the week. Be sure to clock out if doing anything personal. If that is not permitted, use the iPhone during a break. My last three managers, and multiple IT interactions, have been happy with doing it this way Only needed support once. Nicest support I have dealt with. Real people

Excellent customer service

Matth3ous

Well worth the money. It basically runs my entire life. Due to a recent bug I was downgraded to the free version. The customer service was excellent and the CEO even talked to me on Twitter about my issues and customer service followed up via email to make sure I was ok. They're sending an update to the app soon.

Waiting for version 3

My memory bank

I’ve been using OmniFocus for 3 years now and it’s been a great tool to help me get things out of my head and into action. No more relying on my limited memory. I know it’s expensive but I think it’s worth every penny. It has saved me thousands of dollars in late fees. ? The most powerful feature is custom perspectives which filter out tasks and organizes them according to whichever criteria you need. So when I’m at my desk I have a list of tasks waiting already curated according to priority. When I’m in the lab, same thing, Sunday afternoon in my yard, ? BAM “gettin chit dun”. OF2 is a complete system for my brain ? I can’t stress enough how great this app and its developers are.
