Still the best

Clean, powerful, and structured according to Allen's GTD methodology—I cannot recommend his software enough.

Admirable App and Developer Team

Beautiful design: simple, intuitive and crafted down to the last detail. Omnigroup is constantly improving their applications, with a clear vision on their value proposal and a great group of developers to execute this strategy. Omnigroups are the most expensive applications that I buy, but with the biggest return on investment. I end up buying versions for all the platforms, and I use them all of them, almost every single day! I get inspired by companies like Apple and Omnigroup. They deserve to be at the same level, since they work with same passion, delivering extremely high quality products with also a great taste.

Accept no substitute.

This is the singular GTD-grade task management experience for me. It's the gold standard. I've tried many alternatives, but nothing I can trust. Year after year, OmniFocus is the only option I can build and act upon.

Balance of simplicity and power

Damonius907

I love apps that I can get into quickly, apps that are intuitive and designed well. I also love POWER and depth in my apps that allow me to really harness computing and make me better. When an app can do all of these things for me I know I have a gem. OmniFocus is a gem. You can use OmniFocus to make simple grocery lists, or geofenced contextual sequential projects within multiple perspectives. Yes, OmniFocus can do everything. Don't let that scare you. Start simple and as needed built to more complexity. You will never hit a capability ceiling. P.S. OmniFocus has a great free companion app for Apple Watch. Seriously awesome.

God sent this to conquer productivity

This combined with the GTD method create an unstoppable force for productivity.

Fantastic.

Nateth

It makes you omnipotent! Well no, not really, but you'll be a heck of a lot more organized.

Printing?

Ardneh

A print feature would be a great addition!

Best for Getting Things Done

This is the best app I've seen that follows the Getting Things Done system. Fantastic! I'd love to see a PC version or web app for when I have to work in a non-Apple environment. However, this app works exactly as advertised and I won't give a bad review for a feature request.

My Last To-Do App

I have tried and discarded every major task and to-do app, always searching for some combination of features I thought I had to have but never found. I had tried the demo version of Omnifocus for Mac, but didn’t get it. It seemed too complicated. At my wits’ end and never having given Omnifocus a fair try, I watched some YouTube tutorial videos and saw some really interesting features. Then, coming into a bit of money, I took the plunge and bought the Mac and iOS apps. I was underwhelmed at first because of the limited sorting and customization features. The standard version is still a great to-do app, but it’s like a race horse stuck at a carnival giving rides to toddlers. I went ahead and upgraded to Pro and now I am as close to productivity nirvana as I have ever been. Being able to create your own perspectives and having a ton more sorting options allows you to bend Omnifocus to your will and is worth all that extra money. It still doesn’t meet my ideal (unrealistic) combination of features, but it gave me so many more I wasn’t aware of and now love. So, I would advise buying it but only if you also upgrade to Pro.

An essential part of my life

I could not recommend this product more. There will however be a steep learning curve. I have been using Omnifocus religiously for the past year and am still discovering new and better ways to use it.
