Good App but HORRIBLE service

My ears were blessed

Made a couple complaints for 1 particular problem, they don’t want to do their job when they feel like too- you won’t get a response/update the next 2 days.

Would love to be able to use the map to drop the pin on locations that are not necessarily in front of an address. This becomes useful for reporting street issues (think potholes or sidewalk issues) where there isn’t necessarily a building address in front of where the problem lies.

App is cool, city just doesn't care.

Submitted numerous complaints in the past year, no one enforces anything in NYC. Cars that park on the sidewalk continue to do so. No one does a thing. This app is a useless gimmick.

Noise complaint that will never get taken care of with the 311 app

I would submit a noise complaint with the 311 app and I understand that it’s a non-emergency complaint but would not receive a call for at least 4 to 6 hours after the complaint was made. What’s even worse I’ll call my present and then I’m told that I would have to call 311 so great passing the buck New York City

The agency did nothing . The complaint # 1-1-1577037832. The trash can was never changed , just the bag. What does it take to replace a can . Someone showed up and put a new bag in it. GIVE ME A BREAK .!

Have written almost everyday always get response handled by police Never ever handled Alternate not unforced streets never cleaned should smell great in summer Cars park in front of fire hydrants all day So convinced local businesses are reason nothing done body shop to be exact In case your wondering area is 60th st and 15 ave in Brooklyn Come and check out the wild Wild West in Brooklyn

Several complaints and it always gets kicked back saying that my contact information wasn’t attached. That should be an option,which it supposedly is.

Too few complaint choices, status doesn’t update properly

Despite the fact that it is many years old, there are still a tiny proportion of things one may complain about through the app (compared to the main website). Also, updates for some complaints go months without being updated of their status (despite “refreshing” the page).

Can not report noisy alarms

There is no way to report a noisy alarm with this app. A CO2 or smoke detector chirps every 30 seconds, for a month - the super and landlord do nothing, I don’t know where it’s coming from. Can’t report it here. :( Also used the app to text 311 about a complaint I filed on the website [they closed it with no explanation] - it’s been an hour and no reply.

Great app but doesn’t worth it

The app is easy to navigate and to make a complain, but what’s the point of using this app when none of the city officers will respond to your complain?
