Where’s the books?
2ndThoughts

Before I went on vacation, I had over 1800 books listed. I visited several book sales while on vacation and added even more. I get home, and go to add the ones that went directly home and I only have over 600 books in my inventory. So if I can paraphrase an old marketing saying, “Where are the books?” I tried not to complain when the MyStuff2 stopped adding in the authors name, when the price list for the books were nowhere near there price. I didn’t complain when all it was adding was the title and sometimes the right or wrong publisher. NOW however I must complain because I don’t want to reenter a 1000 plus books and don’t even know which 1000 to reenter. I certainly won’t sign up for the $8.99 version, if this is the kind of service you get on the second version of the original. Any chance that there is a fix for this? Please let me know so I know whether I have to hunt for another home inventory service or not. I would be open to any suggestions from other users or reviewers of a better served home inventory system. Or if anyone has a work around for this one that does not involve trying to reload over 1800 books to check and see which ones the program decided to hold onto. Thank you, Deb

Recent upgrade downgrades app

I’ve used this app for years and have loved it for the most part. With a recent update, however, one of the most useful features has been removed. The ability to add by searching was tremendously useful and valuable given how many things I could add at one time. That function has now been removed, requiring a barcode scan only. I tend to add dozens of things at a time that have no barcode but could be found on Amazon. Without that, I’m pretty much stuck with what I had added and without the ability to add more in any timely manner. Unfortunately, I’ll need to look for an alternative app now.

Meh

Needs A LOT of work. Too many glitches.

Easy To Categorize Entire Household and Display on All Devices

Had this app for a while and didn’t really use it as I didn’t have the time or desire to track items. Had a slow day recently so decided to get it over with. This app worked great. Was a joy to use the bar code scanner to quickly add my movie collection. A few did not scan right - but those were library copies we had purchased used. Anything with a bar code - nice. Synchs instantly (after back up and restore the first time). Saw the bad reviews not sure what they are all about - works great on our ipad air 2, iphone 6 and Ipad mini. Now if disaster strikes - we have a nice record of all our critical items for insurance. Good piece of mind.

Used for years - Great App

I love the customizable capabilities of this app. Its functionality seems a bit quirky but it needs to be because of its flexibility. I use this to track collections and it does so flawlessly. Take the time to learn it, it will serve you very well! Being a programmer for many years I appreciate that you can add as many attributes and organize, sort, and filter on them as required. One more thing - back when I began using it, I ran into a couple of bugs and usability issues. I contacted the developer and he had the issues fixed in a couple of days and I’ve been satisfied ever since!

Great

Loved the app BEFORE the last update where you can’t scan barcodes.

App has been abandoned
YankeeDragon

I've been using this app since its inception and have purchased all the available upgrades. Suddenly, the bar code function disappeared. I contacted the developer and then an update was released stating the barcode function was temporarily gone. It's been a week and still no functionality so I'm advising potential buyers to stay away until this issue is resolved.

Used to be okay now It’s broken
cnathanpiv

This app has always been difficult to add new categories and make new lists but now it’s not even allowing new items to be added at all. Nothing on the developer’s website or twitter about it either. Just a useless app in limbo.

Not cool.

Only in Apple's demented control freak universe is it acceptable to randomly take away features/functionality from a product without warning or recourse. Probably not the fault of this particular app developer...but I'm getting really fed up with this nonsense! Edit: features partly restored +1 star
