Barcode scanner does not work

Cmjudco

In a previous version I was able to select the pic2 scanner app and not even use this app scanner but now I don't have an option to pick the pic2 scanner and the one that's in this app does not work. Plus it doesn't maintain the pictures of my books! When the app is working properly I like it for the most part, how it functions, but the last time I had to replace my phone I lost over 300 books from my inventory when I put the app back on my new phone

WONDERFUL!!

April_n_Paris

Very complex, but once you figure out how this app works, you can tailor it specifically to your needs. I started out with the Lite version & loved it enough to invest in the paid upgrade.

Good app.

I have used this app for a long time. Apparently since an update though you can only search your items by barcode. This is awful!! I liked it better when you could search by key words. I don’t believe I have anything catalogued by barcode. Some items don’t even have a barcode.

A few small chips

Overall this app is amazing at keeping and organizing my items. I can add and remove enough things to items for cataloging that it can put a manufacture to amazement. There are a few things that aren't logged at all or properly but those are very easy fixes. I have had very few crashes and they are always fixed and responded to quickly. Great app. I love it top to bottom and have flaunted it to friends at work.

Inventory

I got this app for work to keep track of electronic equipment. And have found that I love this app, I use it to keep track of a ton of different stuff.

Great App!!!

This review is long overdue. I started using MyStuff back in April 2009, a couple of weeks before my son and I started out on a 6,200+ mile, 4 month bicycle ride. MyStuff was the only App like it. It’s customizable templates allowed me to apply it to our trip needs. MyStuff worked well on my iPod Touch. It kept our trip statistics, ie, hotel/camping/food costs, daily miles, speed, feet of climb, etc. so that at a press of a button, the summary report let us know exactly how well we were staying on budget and about our riding performance. The evening of day 54 or so I contacted Rick and asked him to run our finances through Excel as a second check for the math. I sent him the information and Rick got back to us the next day with the good news that both programs agreed! I have since used MyStuff to document my stuff against the day I may need it. Note that an insurance adjuster’s job is to adjust (down) their company’s check amount back to you as much as possible. MyStuff2 helps you quickly and with as much detail as you want, show evidence of what you had. MyStuff2 steps the App up several levels. The additional features and flexibility are truly impressive. A couple of the many other uses I use MyStuff2 include: • 2nd/3rd shift activities per person, machine, P/N, etc. Personnel, Machine #'s, Part Numbers, etc. are in lookup tables so no retyping of information. • Activities and finances at a small campground. I easily mapped out the main power panels, their sub panels & breakers. The spreadsheet style report allows me to readily share the information. The option to include/exclude columns that print out on the report has really come in handy. I currently have 17, 238 lines of sortable/retrievable/sharable data spread across 71 categories. Also, 1 out the 138 lookup tables, has 905 items. Rick's data base program is no light weight. One feature that I have enjoyed since the beginning is the way you can display your data in two or more lines; large font on the first line and smaller font (more info) on the other lines. I can pull up and relive our ride by scrolling down any one of the three logs from the trip…with the information that I can readily see, the memories come flooding back. Rick Maddy, Thanks for a Great App!

Overly complicated ~ HATE IT

Manic Bobo

I have tried several of these. All of these customizable one are a pain in the kazoo to use and set up. Learning curve for this one was too long to mess with. Irritatingly so. Once you have your database set up it looks nothing like their pics. Lots of left over headings. Adding new is a miserable experience. Hate this thing absolutely hate it.

I'm using mystuff2 to inventory my father's estate. I found this program to be very powerful very effective well worth the money. I am very very happy with it.

The best inventory app

TiPAB

This app is full featured and one of the lowest costing inventory apps out there. If you are to purchase all in the in-app features, it would be under $10. I've nearly purchased all the in-app purchases and its totally worth it. I have the multiple databases, the removal of branding on the reports & the custom color schemes. I've created multiple databases, giving each of them a different color scheme. One of the reports allows you to export as HTML (and its mostly responsive), which I've uploaded to my server so I can give access to anyone or I can access it when I don't have my iPhone or iPad around. You can also upload to Dropbox if that's your preferred method. I've inventoried my cables (hundreds of computer cables and connectors) I've even created qr codes and attached them onto the cables, so that I can scan the qr code on a rogue cable and find out where it needs to be. I've inventoried my spice cabinet. So if I'm at the grocery and can't remember if I need to pick up a spice or not, mystuff2 will tell me if I have it or not & I've even set it to tell me if the items are expired or near expiring. I've inventoried my pantry. I've set it up just like the spice cabinet. I know if canned goods are still good & whether or not I need to toss that squid jerky that my fiancé bought... I've inventoried my office. In a similar manner as my cables, and also completed for tax & insurance purposes. I've inventoried my mothers antiques... The list goes on, seriously if you are still reading this you should have already purchased it by now...

Great App for years

Worked great until recent update; lost ability to backup/restore with iCloud. Please fix.
