Where’s the books? – MyStuff2 - Home Inventory and Database Review

Before I went on vacation, I had over 1800 books listed. I visited several book sales while on vacation and added even more. I get home, and go to add the ones that went directly home and I only have over 600 books in my inventory. So if I can paraphrase an old marketing saying, “Where are the books?” I tried not to complain when the MyStuff2 stopped adding in the authors name, when the price list for the books were nowhere near there price. I didn’t complain when all it was adding was the title and sometimes the right or wrong publisher. NOW however I must complain because I don’t want to reenter a 1000 plus books and don’t even know which 1000 to reenter. I certainly won’t sign up for the $8.99 version, if this is the kind of service you get on the second version of the original. Any chance that there is a fix for this? Please let me know so I know whether I have to hunt for another home inventory service or not. I would be open to any suggestions from other users or reviewers of a better served home inventory system. Or if anyone has a work around for this one that does not involve trying to reload over 1800 books to check and see which ones the program decided to hold onto. Thank you, Deb
