Awesome

This is a great app. I had actually been using my notepad for something similar but it was very unorganized and not easy to keep track of. Now I can keep track of everything, all in one place. I geek out on keeping track of random stuff like the serial number on my tv. You never know, if you come home to find your home has been burglarized and your tv was stolen, telling the police that you had a 60" tv isn't much help. Give them a make model and serial number, chances of getting it back are much better. I love this app, I can't wait to input all my nerdy numbers and keep track of literally anything and everything.

Love this app

Great for organizing and keeping inventory of what's in my house

What's the deal?

I've used this app for several years and have always loved it. The recent update has ruined this app however! I'm no longer able to catalog my movies & books. When I scan the product bar code, this app now tells me where I can buy something I've already purchased. It's also running ads on it now and this is an app that I purchased. It was not a freebie! Please fix it or lose a customer!

Bad author cataloging

AmyCat=^.^=

Default is to enter authors in the format "Firstname Lastname" and then sort by FIRST name... You have to ADD each name in the format "Lastname, Firstname" to get it to sort properly. Also, does not support ISBN or Library of Congress numbers for books which pre-date 13-digit ISBNs... CANNOT use to properly catalog my late father's library. :-P

One more feature would make this perfect

I like this app. It makes moving so much easier. The only thing I wish it would have is a repair option. To me it just doesn't make sense, it has a repaired category but not repair or fix category. Also having all repair/fix items in one category or search would be even more fantastic. This app is great but it could be so much more better with just a few adjustments.

A True Database Option

MyStuff2 is a very powerful solution for personal and business applications. Great import/export options and a deep feature set. I upgraded to the Pro version and it was well worth it.

Syncing all the time?

DJFRFd

The new update keeps syncing to the cloud several times a day that I cannot add new items or edit existing items until the sync is complete. Why does it keep doing this? The prior version never had this issue. Also during the sync process the app crashes & then I have to reopen the app to continue. I have 1766 logged items that I use & is a pain when I have to wait for the syncing to finish. Also noticed that the cache memory takes up a lot of space on my phone that I am running out of memory. Is there a way to reset this? Please fix! Thanks.

Developer Support Services are Awful

Skypilot65

Having had this application for well over 3 years and everything worked as described until the latest update when the ability to work with Dropbox was removed from the app. Because this app was only being used as needed, the timeline to transfer the data was lost, leaving my Dropbox database trapped. The notification the developer gave about the Dropbox change wasn't enough. When I emailed the developer twice to get help in moving the database to iCloud I received no reply whatsoever, just a link to sync the database (which worked prior to Dropbox turning off the service, but not after). Because of this single issue I must either trash this app or start over adding 1000s of items all over again. You have been warned. Get at own risk!!!!

Amazing

Ctbana

Perfect for keeping track of any collection- the barcode scan feature made cataloging my video game collection 100% easier. It even brings up screenshots of each game. Well worth the $.

Was an amazing app, until it dropped Dropbox

Chads2013

This was a 5+ star app -- I used it for more than a year & loved it. It was well-designed, customizable, and the barcode scanning capability rocked. I paid for the pro version, and it was worth every penny. BUT... the the app recently dropped support for every single cloud sync option except iCloud. And as if that wasn't bad enough, because the app only syncs with iCloud now, the app no longer even supports the use of multiple databases. I remain *completely baffled* by this reduction in service. I had been using Dropbox to save & sync my inventory. Now, Dropbox is no longer supported, and I can't access any of he thousands of items I inventoried across multiple databases. Overnight, his went from 5+ stars to zero-stars. It is completely, utterly useless now. Why on earth would a developer so severely downgrade such a great app?
