Issues with new version

Alyanes

I never experienced any issues with this application before until the new update came out. Now it tells me that the door is opened when it is not. It does the sane for both doors. I get messages about the door being open when I am not at home but when I look at my Nest camera the door is closed.

Fictitious notifications

Sysek12

I loved it until I started receiving wrong notifications. Garage door open, garage door closed when nobody open or closed the garage door. It is very frustrating.

Aggravated

Hub does not work after update.... after replacing modem. Call tech support, they recommended that it was the sensor on the door.... same thing happens with a brand new unit! Surely not the sensor.

no Time to close feature

3 stars until TTC is supported. This is the most important feature why is it not available? I don't want to buy more hardware just for TTC functionality.

Piss poor setup

cheesegyoza

Been trying to install this for two days and I cannot seem to get the garage door device for the product to connect with the hub. The battery is brand new so I know that isn’t the issue. If I could give negative 5 stars I would.

Will not connect

Peaches5780

Great idea if it would work. Tech support does not answer the phone.

This App version is BAD

Since the latest update I have to reset the app in order to use it again. I have two chamberlain garage door openers connected with myQ I can open door 1 but won’t be able to open door 2 without resetting the App. The App was super fast connecting to the network now dial up speed. Please fix this fantastic App!

Sensor errors

lannonan

Every day I get sensor errors and have to reset the whole sensor, re-program the door opener and all. Very irritating. Will be contacting chamberlain about this.

Can be great....

Occasionally, the app is temperamental and shows the wrong status of the door - when I’m looking at the door. That’s worrisome. I’d give it another star if I could trust it more. I don’t want to sit in the driveway until I see the door start to go down since it has to beep and flash (which I can’t see or hear from my car in daylight) before it starts going down. My only other complaint is that it needs to have multiple users so that I can see who opened the door. Was it my mother? The kids? The cleaning lady? Also, I would like to give the cleaning lady access only on her expected day and not have to provide a key.

You have got to be kidding me..

No connectivity with SmartThings No way to have different logins for family members No way to give temporary access to other people No connection to echo ... So basically chamberlain has written a completely useless app. And then they have the nerve to charge a subscription fee for the only thing that could make it half useful : IFTTT Chamberlain: I would recommend you invest into making your device useful first before thinking about how to get more money out of your customers.
