Awesome App!

Love it!

MLO is aging poorly on iOS

deltron_zero

MLO used to be a cutting edge task manager. Unfortunately this iOS app has not aged well — especially for the price. When compared to Things 3 or 2Do (what I use now), it looks primitive. Take for example the date picker. MLO still uses the old scroll wheel instead of a calendar. It’s 2018 and there are simply better options out there now. While the MLO desktop is releasing Version 5 soon, without an updated companion on mobile, MLO is a no-go for me.

Great!

A flexible app with an even better windows version. I have been using for years. Great product.

Best app for many projects

JonathanMK

MLO is the most effective app for managing several projects. Tagging the project level in the outline is very helpful to manage next actions.

Best task manager ever

Jimvw2

MLO gets a B+ from this long-time user for its versatility and ability to facilitate project management without having to enter all the data required by full blown project management software, particularly bid and budget data. That said, it would great if MLO's projects feature could actually generate critical path charts or Gantt charts. And I would really like it if MLO would add an appointments calendar to its offerings. If it had a robust calendar, I would use that instead of MS Outlook. MLO Would then be my Go To app for ALL my time and project management needs. It's so close already. Still MLO remains the most comprehensive and useful task manager out there, particularly because of it's cloud syncs feature that allows me to use it across multiple platforms, a critical advantage over competitors.

Finally organized

I am the operations manager for a small tech company. This app is helping me get organized on tasks and projects for each of our clients. Super awesome! Still new and maybe missing it, but I wish there was a way to attach documents to tasks. And I need it on a Mac. The Mac version would make it a 5 Star program!

MLO Impresses!

MLO has truly evolved! Having returned as a beta tester, and having made a New Year's resolution to more fully use MLO for my personal and professional lives, I set off to explore the present MLO feature set. I was favorably stunned. I last explored MLO down to the nuts and bolts a long time ago. MLO has truly evolved. My first "beta" impression was the difference between "then" and "now." For example, "reminders" and "review" gives MLO the ability to talk to you. A good to do list is relatively worthless if you have to remember to open it... My purpose for seeking out MLO years ago was to find a thought outliner, a project tracker, a comprehensive todo list, and a life manager, which was easy, comfortable, and not burdensome to use. I initially and always have found MLO to be just that. MLO always seemed to be underappreciated for how it can be used. I am/have been a lawyer, mediator, court administrator, dispute resolution program designer, educator, trainer, and author. Each role has very different angles and dimensions. I have been fortunate to have viewed my profession from so many perspectives. My life, like everyone's, has been also multi-dimensional. The point is that MLO has universal application, even if the ways vary by the field or experience. FYI, as to use as an thought outliner, it would be nice to have a way to number and sub-number items... Anyway, I have been silent on finding bugs since coming back. What I have found is an appreciation for have MLO has evolved. This best metaphor is like raising your own children. You see them every day - the incremental changes are less apparent to you than to a visiting relative who has not seen the children for a good while.

Permanent user

I started with mlo back in 2011. At first it was too much, but has since become the cornerstone of planning. With the ability to be a long term planner, short term planner, brainstorming tool, and note keeper all in one, it is a superior app compared to others. I have consolidated Google keep, trellis, and todoist into this app by creating my own workspaces and views. There are basic features if you don't need much, and very detailed features if you're a power user.

Crucial to my daily activities

I maintain a large outline consisting of tasks and information. Robust sync between the Iphone and Windows laptop. Feb 2018 Still vital, daily use.
