Customer support needs work

The app worked well back in March 2017. I just re-up the service since then, three phone calls and one failed 72 hrs call back later the app won’t transmit to my vehicle. They say the problem is connectivity after three techs and an elevated ticket the call back never happened on the third day. If some one from that department would call and help me work through this issue that would be great.


Paid app with issues?

If I’m paying for an app annually that doesn’t work nearly perfect, I won’t be pleased. I expect paid apps, especially those from a big car company to work 99.9% of the time. I don’t want any stinking messages about how the “feature is “unavailable”. Fix it!


UPDATE TO IPHONE 6 PLUS RESOLUTION

Update 11/7/17: App has gotten better, but needs to be updated to support iPhone X resolution and Face ID. Shouldn’t take that long to log in the app. Also can’t you guys add native Siri support like Tesla did recently? That would be awesome to use Siri and start your car. I’m ok with paying the price you guys are charging every year, but this app should be much more polished and faster than its current state. Treat your loyal customers better. Thanks. It's been over two years now. Update the app to support iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus/7 Plus phone resolutions. And while you're at it, let us use Touch ID instead of a PIN for everything.


Not seeing the point of this app...

Bought a used Hyundai just out of the free use zone for this apps only relevant features (remote start, etc) Since I’m not paying $100 or so a year for an app to maybe occasionally open my car door for me, there is little use for this.


I like it but it needs fixing.

I just got the app but I already love it. The only issue I found is that it insists on you logging back into the app every single time you use it which is already driving me nuts. This would be fine if I could change my username and password which are both currently about 8-15 characters but you can’t do that either. I hope they fix the app so you are pre-signed in. Don’t let this stop you from getting the app though, it works amazingly and is so so convenient and worth the money it takes for a membership.


Seems to work well, but design is way off

It seems to have been designed for the iPhone 4 screen size. It zooms in on the keyboard. Formatting for the iPhone X would be a good idea.


Slow user interface, not reliable

I’m tired of this after 3 years. Timeouts, looooong logins, expired token, app crashes on several different iPhones. By the time you get logged in and send the request, you have already walked to your car and could just get in. Not worth it


No Touch ID or Alexa

Would like to have Touch ID for logging in and for activating services. Maybe just Touch ID activation only from the widget. Touch ID was added but I still have to put my pin code in every time. Checking the “enable Touch ID” box doesn’t seem to do anything. Is Alexa going to be enabled on 2014 models? Seems silly that I can have blue link enabled but can’t allow Alexa access to my account. Customer service agent has had me on hold for over 15 minutes trying to figure this out. I figured it out about 10 minutes ago. I guess she trying to get me to hang up.


Takes forever!

I pay $200/year to remote start the car. Sometimes the app doesn’t work. Waste of money. Might as well buy the Viper alarm and pay $300 once and have it work.


This app is slow...

I really like my 2017 Sonata and the ability to start my car with this app but I feel like the whole process with this app could be way faster. Why do I have to enter a four digit code to do anything? I can't stand the dots that go in a circle when it's loading. Also why is 10 min the maximum for remote start? Why not 15 or 20 minutes? Update....APP for Apple Watch does not work!! It loads up but none of the buttons work! Hyundai please square away this app! Update.....Please update your app to the iPhone X!!!
