With the Apple Watch this app locks up a lot and does not always put your message thru. Facebook should have tested it before releasing it on the public.
The existence of this app is infuriating

I really dislike having two apps for Facebook. Merge the messenger app with the Facebook app. Making us download two separate apps for one social media site is redundant. F+ Facebook! I hate your to app scheme!!!

I tried to install messenger but it wants my credit card information. Y on earth does Facebook need that???? Also is there a charge now for using messenger???? This is insane ???? Apple u need to fix this now!!!!!!

Is anyone else having an issue with the messages not popping up on your lock screen? Or they pop up for a second and go away?
Not getting notified when I get a message

Whenever I get a message I don't get a notification. It doesn't even show up on the lock screen.. Very frustrating because I actually have to go on the app to see if I got a message. And when I'm not notified ,I'm late to responding to the message.

I'm having the same issues as everyone else. No notifications. You have to open the app itself.

Recently my phone has been lighting up but the notification disappears rapidly. So I can't actually just open the app from the lock screen.
