Stop with the 25 updates every 2 days

You have to install EVERY new update in order to be able to use the app, any “old” version of the app will not let you use the messenger and block you from accessing the app.

Don't bother if you're blind
Annoyed VO User

If you're blind and rely on VoiceOver, don't bother. The field used to enter messages has been broken for a few versions now so it's impossible to enter text with VoiceOver running. Even basic accessibility testing of the app pre-release should have caught this, but Facebook has proven over and over again that they'd rather add features like automatic alt text, which is fairly useless, instead of ensuring existing stuff aworks as it should. I have escalated the issue to Facebook Accessibility, but have not received a response. After the issue with the Facebook app recently where posts with backgrounds were being identified as "awesome-text-background" without reading the posts, you'd think they'd try harder, but nope.

Never works.

Updated again, still doesn’t work. Lol The watch app is a joke.

Un send messages

I like the app, just needs to let you unsend messages to other people.

Does what I need it to.

Can’t remove account
Air Ned

I’m not able to remove an account. I have two accounts added to messenger and I am only able to remove one of them. When I am on the account I want to keep I cannot remove the other one, but it does work vice versa.

Every time I open the app it ask me if I want to turn notifications on even though I continue to say no! Also it constantly says it's having to reconnect even though all my other apps are connected to the internet just fine.

The update

The update stinks for group that share stuff on their wall in a bunch of chat rooms

To many messages coming in and there is no delete button.

Facebook messenger doesn’t even want to load up after latest update

The latest update on Facebook messenger has made it where I open the app and it’s a blank screen basically on the app. It use to load very fast. This last update claimed to “fix bugs and issues”. Actually made the messenger app basically useless on my iPhone 8. I was hoping it would fix things. However the app takes at least several minutes to even open up properly. Facebook needs to fix this!
