Gift cards

You CAN NOT use a KROGER gift card to pay on their own app. Doesn’t make any sense.

Love it

Love the app. For me, with little money, I can estimate my total.

So convenient

A great deal with the yearly plan. Saves me so much time. I love this service. The products are top quality.

Love Kroger. Hate the app.

I really wish they showed what items the shopper has gotten in real time, like the Instacart app. I stopped using Instacart because they won’t honor in store discounts which makes them worthless. I also would love it if when you’re checking out for delivery, they showed you the items that can’t be delivered to you BEFORE you put them in the cart(even though they’re listed as a delivery option!)instead of you having to go through 50+ items to figure out what’s going to be delivered and what isn’t. And probably the most annoying issue is the app not having any record of certain products at all when you search for them even though I’ve bought them in the same store countless times(and no this isn’t an issue of low stock. It literally doesn’t exist in the app.)Just super inconvenient that I’m ordering for delivery but have to go in the store to get certain items because they won’t put them on the app for whatever reason. Kinda makes the convenience of delivery, not so convenient. Otherwise I really love and definitely prefer Kroger over Walmart any day!

Horrible app experience

On Fire 4 Him

App kept crashing every time I tried to use it App is NOT user friendly App is way too busy, needs to be simplistic Too many items are in-store only and not available for pick up which makes no sense I selected no substitutions up front and still had to go to each item at check out and select no substitutions. Not sure what the initial selection is for if it won’t hold that preference throughout App doesn’t allow me to select items to be notified once available when they aren’t currently Overall, the worst first time use of an app ever. Really needs to go through end-user testing more often and thoroughly.

This has been a wonderful system!!

I can’t drive due to seizures, my Dad is on Dialysis and weak right now. This has been a lifesaving system!! Your people have been perfect, polite and helpful! My dog didn’t even realize they were here!

Great Grocery App

Texas90210

I have a disability and started using the Kroger app to order and pick up my groceries well before the pandemic and I love it. It has improved over time and will no doubt continue to improve. Sometimes the weekly digital deal meat items are slow to be available in the app at certain stores (the app will say there are no items). I also wish they would input in the system the first name of the person who brings the groceries to my car. The survey used to ask if an employee was helpful and I never know the name to compliment as they are always nice and helpful. I highly recommend the Kroger app.

Out of stock items & old produce

Mo keymom46

It seems to me that everything is “out of stock”these days it’s pretty bad when you can’t find a 2 pound box of sugar. You never have cokes any more (Coke zero) and you’re always sold out so why don’t you get more? And then there is the problem of fresh fruit? I have things like your hair on them in here two days after we received it. I guess it’s fresh for everyone but us. No one else has these shortages except you.

Glitches

No matter how you fill out what you want. The shopper will bug you for subs.

Does correctly locate home store

Bob 1ooo

I live outside Santa Barbara, CA and shop at the Ralph’s in Ventura, CA however the app shows that my home store is in Granville, TX. When I try to change the location, the app shows this as the closest store to my location and reverts to the TX location even though my CA address in the app is correct. When I call for tech support their response is “… do not use the app.”
