Instacart shopper for delivery are so hit or miss. Their integration marks items automatically out of stock or unavailable so shoppers can’t even find a reasonable solution because I can’t add anything to cart. We live in a fairly dense urban area with several krogers in our immediate area and again the integration allows shoppers to shop only the WORST location. It’s a running joke in the community that everything is terrible about the local Kroger, parking, produce, stock…even before the pandemic. These parameters likely make the labor force perform better but it’s coming at the sacrifice of shopper experience. I’m moving to meijer.

I love to go into a grocery store and get inspired by the selection. But when you need just a few staples, a few ingredients, doing a quick delivery order is just wonderful! We subscribe to boost - free delivery and extra fuel points - it easily pays for itself!

Overall a good app. It was my first time using it for a delivery order. I made several mistakes and was frustrated by not seeing a delete button to be able to start over. It is good I reviewed my order and total because everything was added multiple times. I deleted the items but my first experience was frustrating. I’m sure I’ll get better. I also did not get the 15% off for first time ordering even though I did clip the coupon.

There’s too much clutter on the app and it’s not that easy to navigate because of all the junk. An app should simplify the experience versus the web page but this one does not. It gets the job done but it’s not pleasant to use.

I love the convenience of not having to bring my toddler in and shop. Everything usually goes smooth at pick up. People have been very nice. A few times I put in my substitutions and they don’t get my changes before picking out my order. But they have been really good about making it right. I took away a star because what really bothers me is you know they don’t pick out the freshest fruit or veggies. I end up throwing away half of most sometimes…

I recommend checking out the Safeway app. Specifically how they character meat vs deli and other food classifications. Kroger is ok but the app experience needs a bit more.

It is so time saving, easy and convenient. I feel I have more time to do what I need to do

Riddled with technical difficulties. Every time I open the app it says sorry having technical difficulties. Won’t let me do anything.

With me being on an extremely struck budget a lot of the items I desire are out of stock and it is frustrating because I don’t have my own transportation so I have to unfortunately rely on the delivery service because if I had my own ride I could go to a different store in order to obtain the items that I desire. At any rate if the items I desire are ever in stock then my star count will go up.
