I used to love this app but then...

BobbyP311

I just read a post someone had about stereo mode going in and out that is so true it will not stay paired for long it’s near impossible it’s always been like that with the flip 5, flip 4 never had a problem hardly. I don’t understand the quickest app to connect speakers together is the worst app. You don’t even add any kind of customization at all. Like an equalizer oh my god what an incredible idea. This could revolutionized the sound Bluetooth speaker market. Here at JBL we are quick on our feet and will get right on this unprecedented idea. Customization should be at the key center in core of what you need in the future for your app and products, and connectivity of corse

Highly Disappointed...

I’m assuming you need to have at least 2 speakers for this to work effectively.

Stereo pairing?

The Road Out Of The Abyss

Tried everything including tech support don’t buy these if you plan on stereo pairing cause your going to be disappointed. And get this...tech support tells me you shouldn’t place them more than 1 meter apart? Well that defeats the purpose of stereo pairing. I bought 2 charge 4’s and one of them froze and I couldn’t even turn it off then ordered a third and can’t pair in stereo so all 3 go back, what a waste of 4 hours of my time....very disheartening. My old latex Lansing’s would pair without a hitch and you didn’t even need an app for it. What sadness when technology becomes so inept.

Great Speakers but Charge 4/ Pulse 4 issue

-Tac-

So I bought the JBL Charge 4 and Pulse 4 brand new nothing newer you can get in the lineup. EVERYTHING is fantastic except the pulse 4 is on partyboost connect and the charge 4 is still on their old connect plus. So you can’t connect the speakers to each other and play simultaneously from one device. If I got the flip 5 instead of the charge 4 I could use the party boost but it’s not as powerful in sound and quality as the charge 4 is. So yea great speakers just JBL needs to make them compatible or don’t have two new speakers running on different connection compatibilities. Where’s the charge 5 at with party boost if the pulse and flip have it already.

CHARGE 3 will not connect to the app

REDDMANNone

I’ve had my CHARGE 3 for almost 3 years and I love it. I never knew that you can update the firmware from the app until today. So, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions but it will not connect. Such a let down. Anyway, is there another one way to update the firmware?

Features stink

chele826

The only capabilities I see in this app is to connect other JBL devices. That’s it. I was really hoping for an equalizer considering these devices are not cheap. JBL needs to upgrade this app with features to help improve sound quality on their devices.

Can’t even power the speaker on/off with this app.

wyattworks

Almost zero functionality in this app.

Trash!!!

I want to update my JBL extreme, but everytime I click download update the speaker disconnects from blue tooth

DOES NOT WORK AS IT SHOULD

MacD73

I don’t know which update messes up this app but it rarely detects my extreme 1 speakers now..I have to spend up to an hour trying to get the speaker to be recognized in the app! Did developers do this on purpose to make me upgrade my perfectly good speakers???

Bad app.

krieves

The app would not connect to my Flip 4. My iPhone connected very easily, but the app would not. Don’t bother downloading it, you’ll just be disappointed.
