I bought a pulse 3 for no reason because I wanna do the light show but it won’t even connect !!

The app does little and doesn’t do anything half the time. Must be written by some h1b Einstein temporarily in the country.

Connects my two charge 4s with ease, have them set to Right and left, the app even knows what color they are! Great update!!!!

The JBL Charge 3’s have amazing sound, especially in stereo. However, this app is only able to connect to the second speaker about 1/3 of the time and will often lose the connection. When this happens, the speakers go into mono which is not as good. Sad.
Needs some work! But probably won’t listen.

They need to add an option to turn off the lights on the pulse 3 and other pulse speakers to conserve battery. Maybe your in a situation you don’t want the flashy lights and just music. They never added new patterns either. Bare minimum updates. Needs work! But the sound quality is good.

So, I had high hopes for this app, but it’s a total let down! All it does, is connect jbl speakers into a group. That’s it! It doesn’t even detect software updates, especially on iPhones! There is no power on/off button, volume controls, EQ options, software updates......NOTHING! Come on JBL, you can do better than this! At least make it work for firmware updates! Oh, and don’t bother contacting customer service via email, they don’t respond.

What a great idea JBL, let’s make a Bluetooth speaker and an app that don’t connect and communicate .......EVER! EVER!! Ingenious. Wish I thought of it first. ...and yes, it’s a Charge4/iPhone XS and on the compatibility list!
