I loved the SP-2 and SP-3 printers but now the app won’t function with the latest IOS update and will not connect to the printer. PLEASE UPDATE THE APP SO IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE LATEST IOS UPDATE. I would love to actually get to use my Instax printers.

I bought the SP-3 to use with my iPhone but the app does not work and cannot make a print. It did work with a Fuji X100 series camera but I mainly bought it for our family to use with iPhones. I returned the the printer. If they fix the app, and it gets reliable reviews, I will gladly re-buy it. But basically with this app it’s a non-functional piece of hardware.

Now I have a useless brick and a bunch of film. Did they just stop supporting it? This is bs. By the looks of it they stopped supporting after iOS 13.

I love this printer so much! I got it for Christmas a few years ago, and have used it dozens of times. Sadly, with the most recent iOS the app has not been working. I am really disappointed, I hope that this is fixed very soon!

Devs need to release an update as it no longer works with new iOS versions!! ??? This app was working just fine until my iPhone 11 updated to iOS 14 and now the app cannot connect to my SP-2!! My phone can connect to the printer’s WiFi fine but then on the app it says not connected on the app/ cannot find printer. I tried every troubleshooting option suggested online and even re-installing etc but still could not get it to connect again. In the end, I figured out that it was due to the iOS version because I dug out my old iPhone 8 (still on iOS 12), installed the app and then reset the printer to factory settings as prompted and violá—it’s printing again!! ? What’s the point of buying an expensive printer if you guys are just going to give up on the app?? It’s been a year since this has gotten an update so I’m really losing hope in getting my SP-2 to print again unless I use an older phone. I prefer the overall sleek aesthetic and shape of the SP-2 but I was planning on getting their new device to keep in my bag until this happened ? Clearly they abandoned this version and are focusing on the new app for their Mini Link...if this is the direction they’re going in where they just develop a new app for every release, why would I spend another $100 on a device that clearly still works??

I got this printer today and have been trying to get it to connect to my iPhone all day. After numerous attempts I am still not able to connect. I keep seeing reviews that say to allow location and all that but it’s not working. I am disappointed.

I purchased sp3 not to long ago and except the first time trying, the app doesn’t allow me to access to SIMPLE and SEASONAL templates unless I switch printer model option from sp3 to sp1/2, which is pointless. Even when I re-download the app several times, same error remains.

I wasn’t aware that updating my iPhone 8 would disable this app. I wonder if there is someone who knows how to make it work. I am at 14.3 Would uninstalling it then install again help? I like the tiny pictures but have film and no way to use it. Help.
