Was great, now app ruined

If an item is out of stock you used to be able to pick a specific replacement. Now no matter how many times you pick a specific replacement it chooses "best match" (which usually means a vaguely similar item at 2x the price). When the replacement options were acting up you used to always be able to add a note, and you could just put the replacement item in the note. Can't add a note now!! I'm terrified to find out what they did to chat..

Love Instacart, HATE their customer service!!

Worst customer service experience of all time. Driver was 4 hours late with my order and “Shawn” the manager, his response was “sorry, but it’s really not a big deal.” Ok then. In this day, customer service is everything due to the power of the reviewer. Take my word for it, everything about Instacart is fabulous, until you have a problem. Good luck!

Yes, there are fees. Yes, some stores raise the product prices. But this service has saved me so much time. I have more time to work out, more time to run other errands, and more time with my family because I can come straight home after work. Totally worth it in my opinion. Also, I had a WONDERFUL first experience. My shopper was very professional and gave me updates the whole time. Her replacement choices were on point. I bought the subscription for the whole year. Hopefully all my orders will be as smooth as the first. :)

Every time I order something from Instacart there’s always an issue! Wrong item, bad item, gets charged more than what the price says on the package. I tried to cancel my Express membership that I automatically got signed up for the next following day, but they never refunded me. It even said on their terms and condition that you’ll get refunded as long as you cancel your membership within 14 days. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I don’t understand how they have 4.8 stars when I never had a good experience with them. I have a very busy life and it makes it convenient for me to order from them but there’s always an issue every single time.

I am so upset right now! App says my groceries were delivered and I never got them!!! This was our dinner among other things for tonight!!! I am highly upset!!!!

I lost my vehicle last month in a wreck. The cabinets were looking pretty bare until I found Instacart! I used it Sunday, my shopper was incredible and I still got to take a Sunday nap instead of going to the grocery store! Can I get an “Amen?!?”

Auto charge your card for express

Beware when you sign up apparently you sign up for their express Service which they charge your card $149 a year after the trial service I was not aware of this and they still charge my car and a day before the trial ended And it I’ve gotten a refund and removed my card from this service really bad business practices turns me off. Only used once and forgot stuff.

Great app until you get unauthorized charges

This app was really useful for me as I’m 6 mos pregnant and on bed rest. I was getting deliveries within a couple hours and loving it. Then, without any notice I received a “membership” charge of $149! I had never seen anything about a membership fee until then. I felt extremely scammed. The app should have a notification that they have a membership available if I want to continue use! If you decide to use this app, keep an eye on your bank account.
