Given the run around

Up till today I would have said this was a great service. However the first time something went wrong and I had to call their customer service I realize not so much. I placed an order for a 4:00 to 5:00 delivery which did not stove. When I called I was told that it had to be reassigned and she would start shopping soon and the order would arrive between 5:45 and 6:15. That time came and went. I had to call back twice since the next time I called I was placed on hold for 10 min. then hung up on. On the third call I was told that they were still looking to assign my order to someone. Now I have to wait 7 days for my credit card to be released! Totally unacceptable!

Unlabeled buttons in this latest version

Using voiceover, it appears some of the buttons that were previously labeled, are no longer labeled. For example, the button to submit the time schedule, The button to submit after completing check out, the button to submit ratings, etc. etc.

Horrible

Several of my friends had use this app with promo codes before I did for an item. I used the exact same codes as they did (one of those friends was right there with me as I was purchasing and using the codes). It accepted the codes and game me the same checkout price as everyone else received. When my item was delivered I notice on my card I was charged $20 more than I agreed to and what my friends paid. I contacted the company and got told I could only use one code at a time. When I informed them several of my friends had already used the two codes and didn’t have a problem, I was messaged back by another person informing me that one code was expired. I then questioned why did it accept it at checkout then and give me a initially the same cost as my friends. I then received a reply they would give me credit to use towards my next purchase. I informed them that was unacceptable because it was fraud on their part and will never be using them again. I then received a reply informing me they were “Going above and beyond” to return my money to my card. Horrible and fraud is what they are. Be careful!

Couldn’t care less about customers

It is 12:44 am and I am so disgusted with this company that I am beyond livid. I placed an order earlier tonight and it was supposed to arrive by 11pm. I rechecked the app and saw that for some reason it then showed that the delivery was coming between 12:15 and 12:45 am. I am exhausted after doing a 12 hour shift and then had to take my dog to the hospital because when I came home he was sick. I needed the food in that delivery for my family. I couldn’t go back out and stayed up to get the delivery though I need to be back at work at 6am. 12:30 and no one was shopping yet!! I called Instacart. They said that they have no shoppers and I should just cancel or reschedule. NO SHOPPERS ??!!!! At least call me and tell me. Give me an option to make other arrangement!!! Something!! Then to spit in my face further, when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that the manager said he/she didn’t need to talk to me because I already had been told the options. Shameful....

Grocery shopping alternative

Italio96

Although the store selection may be limited depending on your area, the experience was very easy and accurate. You will notice some alternative pricing but Instacart is upfront about the differences and let’s face it, you’re paying for convenience. Great for elderly or disabled who cannot easily get around- the app lets you give instructions which is a plus.

Super buggy

Lauragamble

The app has become increasingly buggy. The shoppers don’t always get bings right but that’s kinda the risk you take. When something goes wrong they usually do the right thing. Usually is key word.

First order

I just signed up and made my first order. I did the free 14 day promo. If you order $35 or more there is no delivery charge however I did not know that there was a service fee of about three dollars you can also get a $10 promo code online easily to help this first purchase. The first purchase seems like it's a deal but afterwords you're going to be charged a service fee if you are a member and a delivery fee of about five to $10 if you are not a member. Membership is $50 a month or $150 yearly. Will have to wait-and-see but it seems OK so far

Amazing

disney blah

This makes my life SO much easier. I have four young children and grocery shopping was a 3 hour event, at least. This saves me time, and money! Seriously, a busy moms dream come true

App doesn’t work

Gena gena

I tried to sign into the app three different ways and still having trouble. Very frustrated.

Not the same

Godusuk

I don’t remember them keeping my money until next order when ending amount becomes less, due to unavailable items. What if I don’t order again for a month? Will that $40 they’re holding onto gain interest? Shoppers could use additional training on common sense decision making. Email contact ignores you. It’s only 5:30 and delivery within 2 hours is already unavailable. Within 5 hours is too big of a window to watch my phone in case the shopper needs further instruction, or to make sure I’m home for receipt. This service has gone downhill. Probably won’t use again.
