Instead of booking rooms at cheap hotels, I book w/Hotwire & stay in very clean, quiet & modern hotels for the same rates.
Poor service, avoid completely

Poor service providers, the bookings are not honored by service providers and litter with fine print. Don't get caught in the Hotwire trap, avoid the gimmicks and you can find the same prices where the services providers actually honor the 3rd parties relationship. You will read this, probably disregard and then after your first booking you will completely kick yourself. Happy travels

This app has been nothing but awesome when we have needed it. I have used it on every trip we have taken in the last year. As long as you read the reviews and do your regular research about the area, you can end up with some pretty fantastic hotel stays.

You will NOT be able to select the hotel room bed configuration you desire. ONLY number of travelers is selectable. This means if you are traveling for instance as 2 adults you CANNOT choose, select or even confirm 2 double beds or 2 queen beds or 1 King or 1 queen. In fact, this will be totally randomly assigned. Be prepared. You will not get what you want and cannot change it at the hotel. It will require you to spend inordinate amount of time, effort, money and frustration changing what bed configuration you want with Hotwire AFTER you have booked and credit card charged for reservation. I call this bait and switch either originating with the hotel or Hotwire but Hotwire is concealing this important detail with EVERY reservation no matter how enticing the deal is or hotel rating. If you care about knowing more than the hotel rating then DONT USE THIS APP OR SERVICE.

I always research the area first by checking out the prices of the hotels through other websites. I never select anything below 3.5 star rating unless it has at least and 85% customer recommendation.

This is an excellent app! Great deals, matching reviews and easy booking. Kudos! I have booked many of my trips on this app and deals and unbeatable. Car rental deals are pretty awesome too. Great customer service when once my reservation had issue. Hotwire.com is awesome!
