1 out every 5 times I tried to book. There was no more availability. But Hotwire did CHANGED my credit card. It's takes 5 days to get my money back

They cancelled my reservation without asking me and i had to find another hotel at midnight. I called the customer service and they cant even speak english and hang up while i was talking. I sent an email to get refund they are saying that "you agreed terms and conditions we can not refund" They are scammers. Do not use them

They cancelled our reservation without asking me. I called the customer service and they said the reservation fee is non refundable. They literally captured my money for making me find another hotel. They steal money do not download it

Hotwire is a scam!!! They will steal your money!!!! They are fraudulent and give out false advertisement!!! Customer service is awful, they hung up on us twice and made us wait three hours on the phone!!! They will not acknowledge the mistakes they made and won't give a refund that we rightfully deserved. Don't use Hotwire. 0/5 stars.
Horrible Rooms

Be cautious about getting hotels on Hotwire. They are cheaper but the hotels always give you the worst rooms they have. I have used it a lot because it's cheaper but out of ten hotels two have had a working air conditioner. I'm sitting in a hotel room tonight I got off Hotwire and the ac doesn't work. I will never use this again for a hotel
App is ok but it helps you use Hotwire who is terrible.

I'm writing this review as my family and I sit in the parking lot of our "reserved and pre paid" hotel which has zero record of any reservation and is sold out. I have been on the phone for 52 minutes including being hung-up on once and my family and I are still homeless. Beware if you choose to use them you better call and confirm and do their job for them because they aren't doing their job on their end. Good luck and I hope you fair better than we did!

The worst customer service

So I book a room and show up, but they don't have a room for me. Hotwire does nothing and by now it's after midnight and I can't even book another room. They did give m a $25 credit for my next booking which I just made, but it ignored the credit. The India call center is the worst. They don't care about their customers at all.
Great in many different ways, but not perfect

I've gotten great deals using Hotwire. I got a 4 star resort (the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort for $96) and it was amazing! Got a suite at Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown for $84. My only complaint is that when I go to book a room sometimes, it will say "something went wrong, try again later" otherwise, I haven't had any problems!
