This app and website are terrible. Securus works SO much better. You can actually schedule calls with inmates with Securus. With Homewav you have to wait for them to call you. It’s ridiculous. Then the audio and video don’t work half the time. It’s a waste of money. Very disappointing.

This app keeps freezing and doing the attempting to load however nothing ever opens up!! Pointless to have for it’s just taking up space on the phone!! Not to mention it’s very skeptical on rather or not it’s actually protecting your privacy and not just phishing for personal information!

The idea of the app is nice but there are glitches and bugs. When I receive calls I can’t be seen or heard but I can see and hear them. No bueno

I sent money but cannot talk to my inmate. I would like a refund I can’t even get in to talk to anyone just reinstalled it. Please contact me. Earl Hunt in Williston ND who I was trying to give money too.

If I had other means of talking to my inmate face to face, I would use it. Unfortunately, HomeWAV is the only service at his facility, so it’s the app I have to use. The sound and video CONSTANTLY lag. Our conversations suddenly end because the app crashes. I get charged for minutes that run by even when there’s no video or sound. Besides the horrible user interface, it’s obnoxiously expensive. $6 for 20 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. That’s not even including the processing fee ($2 every time you add money to your account), or the refund fee ($7 if you want your money back). This app stinks. And if you’re using it, your life probably already has enough struggles as it is, considering you’re trying to communicate with an inmate. I’m sorry for everyone who has to use this forsaken app.

This is so unethical, my son was moved to another facility because it was overcrowded, I called to get a refund and they still charge the $7 fee regardless, my family all got charged this fee. I am so bothered with this. Come on HomeWav what is this about, you are taking advantage of us

After downloading this app a week later I can’t use saying there a New Version of this app I go to download and not available in the US yet wth I need it now ...

Just reading the horrible reviews, I think I will stick to speaking to my loved one on the phone, which is cheaper by the way, and will talk to the facility where he’s at about going back to their old video visit provider. There’s not a single good review about this app nor is there a single response from the developer about the obvious ongoing issues
