I used the app to learn Korean and everytime I tried to type, it would just pause and it kept pausing and it got kind of annoying so I deleted the app and redownloaded and once it finished loading I opened the app and it kept still pausing. I don’t know why that keeps happening.

I love this app and the people who made this possible are at the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Alexander Bell for figuring out how to connect the world through technology. This app is amazing and very useful but I do not like the point where we have to pay money to teach others English. In the Profile, you can see the visitors but it’s blurred out and it cost $8.99 for one month and etc but I wish that you could get at least 2 people per day that you could be able to help without spending money. I’m fine with paying since it’s a great app and there’s nothing like this but I just wish you were able to answer 2 people on the visitor page. Other than this, I love the app because you can see when they’re online and you can see the age and where they are. :) anyways it’s a good app!
Update just converted basic functionality into paid

Basic functionality no longer works after latest update. Update claims it’s to fix stability. In reality, it now requires a paid upgrade to access basic, core functionality.

I used this app for years and even had hundreds of followers. One fine day someone posts about a rigged, fraudulent election on the public threads called moments. I called the guy out for peddling conspiracy nonsense. Sure enough the rest of MAGA rabid crowd reports me for “political posts” ... One strike, and I get banned for life. HT SUPPORT never looked into it, despite their PR reply here. At least I’m on the right side of history... and Tandem is a better app for language partners anyway!
