Could be (needs to be) so much more

Time to get with the 21st century folks. Things like Touch ID and HealthKit integration seem like no-brainers for a supposed health app. Also, Passbook support for my ID card would be swell too. Add these features AND make it all stable and you’d have yourself a 5-star app.

Awful

Still buggy... Unusable. Health net should pull it from the App Store until they get it right. It has been buggy and inadequate since I first tried using it last March.

Absolute garbage

Crashing too often. No iPhone 6 or ios 8 support. Can only do a provider search if I know their last name- ridiculous. It's easier using the website than this

Makes me want to change my insurance!

How a company such as Healthnet can have this kind of low quality app? It looks like they don't want to pay the extra dollar to have something decent. And that's scary coming from a health care provider.

Terrible

Can only search for providers if you know their name versus being able to search for a field/specialty, but that's only if the search field doesn't get stuck loading, which is what happens every time. Only good if you need to view your insurance card.

Useless

Other than getting info already provided on my business card sized insurance card, this app adds no other functionality. I couldn't even find my physician to add as a favorite. Virtually useless.

Crap

Doesn't work. Can't even log in

Pathetic

If you thought HealthNet's website was bad, and oh boy is it weak, then this pathetic half-attempt at an app is so much worse again. It's not like they're a huge corporation with deep pockets and a huge IT dept to come up with something vaguely professional for their customers. Do they even get that people actually use their phones to go on the interweb nowadays? Sad.

Keeps crashing

99% of the time. I guess the people in testing took the day off on launch day.

Please test your app BEFORE releasing it!

With the massive check I write every month for my premiums, along with everyone else, you would think Health Net would hire a proper IT department. That they would try using their app before releasing it. That they would try it daily to find all of the interface problems. Nope. I logged into the app to do a provider search. I click the provider search button. I type in the name and click the current location button. So far, so good. Then it all went wrong. I go to click the "Search Plans" drop down option. It takes me to a new screen that has nothing but a space to type. It doesn't have the drop down menu that it appears it would. There is no way to find plan options. But wait, I am logged in and they KNOW what my plan is. Next problem, HUGE PROBLEM, I go to click the SEARCH button but it isn't there. It is hidden down below, under the bottom button strip menu. So I scroll up on the provider search page and can see the giant blue SEARCH button but I can't click it. There is no possible way to click the hidden SEARCH button. Try it. It's amazing! I am using an iPhone 6, so my screen is big. Maybe you need a iPhone 6 Plus to use the Health Net app? I don't know. What I do know is that Health Net needs to immediately meet with their app team and test out every single feature of their app. They all need to login from different devices and test out every button, every search, everything. Get the interface working properly BEFORE releasing an app, especially when you are one of the top health care providers in the United States. That is my two cents. I will now pay a whole lot more than two cents for my premium.
