I just got this app and I'm so thankful to the creator/creators. It really helps me with my anxiety. The first time I tried it was amazing. I noticed that my heartbeat was not racing as fast as it usually is and that I felt a lot less tense. Thank you again :)

Crashes my phone?

So like , I did the first session and immediately felt obsessed . I enabled all notifications and tried to continue with the night time session. And then I couldn’t click anything . I tried multiple times but the app just kept causing my phone to go blank. I deleted it and am going to redownload and hope that this solves my problems . But I have the most up to date iPhone with the most up to date iOS so I don’t think it’s my phone. Is it maybe not suitable for my iOS ? Idk . But I really enjoyed the first session. Hoping this gets fixed.

Love the voice for this guided meditation. That is what normally determines if I stick with it. I also love the animations to help visualize simple steps to help you get better at meditation. It is a tool I will be using every morning. When my session is over I typically am in a “wait don’t go yet!” Mode ? I’ve done 4 days in a row and always looking forward to the next. Definitely worth it if you are a first timer or needing that guide!

1500 minutes meditated

So far pretty good. I heard about this app from a fellow Physician blogger who uses it in the morning as part of a regimen to avoid Physician burnout. The lessons are simple and well explained. The guide knows what he is doing. I have noticed a difference in my life in a few ways since starting about 5 months or 1500 minutes ago. I don’t mind paying the fee as the app is clean and works every time. It’s also updated regularly with new content and the videos are nice for getting the concepts across. Th reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because 90% or so of the content seems to be guided which means he talks nearly the entire time. After you go through the basic and pro packs you will be used to unguided meditation with only a short explanation of the goal just before starting. After going unguided, it’s tough to go back to guided and is distracting. Hopefully more unguided/minimally guided packs will be added such as a few more Pro packs. There is another knock preventing 5 stars. As much as the variety of packs may be useful to some, I got this app for mindfulness meditation only and it should focus on mindfulness meditation. There are so many subjects on the app now other than mindfulness and each is addressed very superficially. If it continues to delve into stress reduction, anxiety, fear, sports training, public speaking etc I thinking quality will suffer over quantity and it will dilute itself to another average self help app, albeit with a soothing British accent. Be who you were meant to be Headspace!
